Although sharing top billing with the Santa Anita Handicap, also known as “The Big Cap”, most of the attention will be on the San Felipe which is offering Kentucky Derby points… well, sort of. Most of the field is trained by Bob Baffert. His horses are still ineligible to win Derby points as a lingering punishment from the 2021 disqualification of Medina Spirit.
