The Horseshoe Online Casino brand from Caesars Entertainment was launched in Pennsylvania last week. This is the second location the Horseshoe Online Casino brand will be available for the public.
Less than a week after launching their Horseshoe Online Casino brand in Pennsylvania, Caesars Entertainment has also successfully launched in West Virginia.
This is the second and third Caesars’ Horseshoe Online Casino real money casino site players can now partake in; Michigan was the first location to have Caesar Entertainment’s online casino brand last month.
Caesars Entertainment’s Expansion Plans
Following this, the next locations Caesars are targeting are New Jersey and Ontario by the end of this year. Doing so will complete all the US states that offer online casinos within their territories on top of establishing a foothold in Canada.
Matt Sunderland, Caesars Digital‘s Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Office, stated in a press release that the Horseshoe brand is anchored by a promise to put the player first,
“A brand with such a storied past deserves an online equivalent that pays respect to the legacy it has established in gaming, and that is what we’ve created with Horseshoe Online Casino,” Sunderland added.
What does this mean for Pennsylvania’s Online Casino Environment?
With Caesars’ Horseshoe Online Casino now available, this makes it the 23rd online casino available within the Keystone State. This is the third brand Caesars Entertainment has operating within the state – the first is the Caesars Palace Online Casino and the second is the Tropicana.
Having multiple brands operating within the state is possible, thanks to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) allowing multiple licenses. Caesars Entertainment plans on maximizing this with the Harrah’s Philadelphia license.
Pennsylvania’s status as one of the best online casinos for US players is well-known, with New Jersey and Michigan completing the “Big Three”. This is why online casino operators troop in the state.
Customers in Pennsylvania are already taking part in a myriad of features operators have been offering. This includes about 700 slots from Capital Gains, Divine Fortune, and Buffalo Thunder, as well as 14 live dealer rooms that offer Blackjack, roulette, and craps.
West Virginia’s Online Casino Environment Grows
The addition of Caesars’ Horseshoe Online Casino in the Mountain State increases the online casino operators to 10. Most of West Virginia’s online casinos include sports betting sites such as DraftKings Casino and FanDuel Casino. Along with these, the popular online casinos include BetRivers Casino, Caesars Casino, Golden Nugget Casino, BetMGM Casino, and Fanatics Casino.
Eric Hession, Caesars Digital President, noted that projected expectations for Horseshoe to rack in revenue can potentially impact Caesar’s digital products; it won’t be that much of a difference when it comes to competing with the Caesars Palace Online Casino brand, which has been operating within the state for over a year now,
“I also would temper the expectations. Horseshoe is a great brand, and we feel like it’s going to resonate with a lot of customers. But Caesars is even a better brand,” Hession added.
Caesars Entertainment’s expansion plans to add more Horseshoe Online Casinos across the states where online casinos are allowed can help generate more revenue and further cultivate the industry.
This can help persuade neighboring states that haven’t legalized online casinos to the positive effects on having online casinos or even US crypto casinos operating within their territories as far as generating revenue.
