PlayStar, a real money online casino operator based in New Jersey, has recently increased its efforts to improve their company’s growth across the North American iGaming market. Their efforts have led them to establish an Advisory Board that is tasked with further bolstering their presence in the New Jersey market, and also look into campaigns to expand to other markets in North America.
Their Advisory Board consists of individuals with considerable experience across iGaming, corporate governance, customer acquisition and investment management. Its members include the following:
John Finamore – former Penn National Gaming executive
Jai Maw – Betting Hero Co-Founder
Alison Digges – former Entain Managing Director
Carl Sottosanti – former Penn National Gaming General Counsel
Richard J. St. Jean – former Morongo Casino Resort & Spa COO
Terrence Gray – investment management executive
The combined experience of the 6 board members will be in-charge of navigating through evolving iGaming and frameworks for online casino games across North America, as well as give their expert opinion on the company’s expansion strategies, legal considerations and customer engagement models.
PlayStar Endeavors for Company Growth
Peter Ekmark, PlayStar CEO, stressed that their goal as a company is to continue building on their momentum and become a leading force in the iGaming industry, not only in New Jersey, but across North America,
“The creation of our Advisory Board will help us achieve this by leveraging the collective expertise of five highly talented individuals from the casino and hospitality sectors,” Ekmark added.
PlayStar has made a name for itself as a casino-first platform that offers an extensive selection of slots, table games, and promotions. Starting with their launch in New Jersey back in August 2022 through a collaboration with Ocean Resort Casino, PlayStar’s platform has been noted for its use of real-time player data to tailor user experiences, setting a high standard for customer engagement in the online casino industry.
In terms of collaborations, PlayStar has inked partnership deals in the state with prominent suppliers such as Wazdan, Play’n GO and Relax Gaming. They also struck a deal in October with the New Jersey Devils NHL team.
The same month, it extended a long-running collaboration with Swedish global hosting provider Internet Vikings. That said, this latest development further illustrates the company’s goal of becoming one of the best online casinos in North America.
