We’re fading Austin Gomber, it’s one of my favorite weekly holidays. Gomber’s got a 1-5 record through 16 starts and he’s allowed 15 home runs on the year.
This Royals lineup is stacked with big hitters and tonight with the lefty Gomber on the mound, I’m loving this line. Kansas City is batting 0.262 against lefties this season (6th) but they’ve also faced the 5th least amount of lefties this year.
Tonight with Gomber on the mound, it’s the perfect time to get the long ball going. With the Royals coming off a 4-2 loss last night, and now losing back to back games; we’re taking them to bounce back with Lugo on the mound.

We’re taking of the hottest hitters in baseball, at Coors Field, against Austin Gomber. Not a whole lot to it.
But in case you love stats, Witt’s hitting 0.321 this season with 14 home runs and 58 RBI. He’s one of the best premier young hitters in the game he’s looking even more dangerous this season.
He’s got just 4 career games at Coors Field and he’s recorded 2 home runs and he’s batting 0.333. It’s tough to take the line here but with it being Coors, it’s understandable.
