<p>Thee Astros and White Sox are nodded at 1-1 in their three game series. Sunday night will decide a series winner, and for the Astros, they are hoping another home series doesn’t end up a loss.</p>
<p>Both teams are 5-5 in their last 10 games, as they took turns beating up on each other in the first two games. White Sox pitching was lights out yesterday, allowing only 3 hits and shutting out the AL West leaders on the road.</p>
<p>For the Astros, they got their worst performance of the season from Justin Verlander. He lasted a season-low 3.2 innings and gave up 7 runs on 9 hits.</p>
<p>The Astros will hope to bounce back as the favorites on Sunday night. With a loss, that would wrap up a 3rd straight home series loss for a team that started out the season more than dominant at home.</p>

<p>Michael Kopech will take the mound as the starter tonight for the Sox. He has been cleared of a knee injury, so the team leader in ERA will have a shot to give the White Sox their second consecutive series victory.</p>
<p>Cristian Javier is on the hill for the Astros. He has not recorded a win since May 25 when he did not allow a run through 5.2 innings against the Guardians.</p>
