UFC 300 Predictions: Pereira vs Hill Preliminary Card Odds & Picks
The UFC 300 preliminary card odds are courtesy of BetOnline as of Friday, April 12 at 11:18 a.m.
Jiří Procházka vs Aleksandar Rakić Prediction — Light Heavyweight
- Jiří Procházka (-105)
- Aleksandar Rakić (-115)
Jiří Procházka (29-4-1) makes his return to the octagon after losing the light heavyweight gold to Alex Pereira at UFC 295. Standing in his way of a bounce-back victory is Aleksandar Rakić (14-3), who hasn’t fought since he tore his ACL against Jan Blachowicz back in May 2022.
As great as Rakić was before his injury, I can’t go against Procházka at UFC 300. The former champion isn’t someone you want to face in your return bout, especially when you consider that the 31-year-old was on a 13-fight winning streak before losing to Pereira.
I’m sticking with a Procházka outright win, but don’t hesitate to sprinkle something on the victory coming via KO/TKO (+165).
Procházka vs Rakić Pick: Jiří Procházka ML (-105)

Calvin Kattar vs Aljamain Sterling Prediction — Featherweight
- Calvin Kattar (+147)
- Aljamain Sterling (-172)
Life hasn’t been going well for Calvin Kattar (23-7), who heads to Las Vegas following back-to-back losses to Josh Emmett and Arnold Allen. He must face a determined Aljamain Sterling (23-4) who steps back into the octagon for the first time since losing the UFC Bantamweight Championship to Sean O’Malley eight months ago.
Even though this is Sterling’s featherweight debut, it’s been nearly two years since Kattar last fought due to a knee injury. Sterling knows how to break his opponents down and will target Kattar’s knee if he knows it’ll be a problem.
Having said that, there are some unknowns with Sterling entering a new weight class and Kattar having not fought in a long time. Instead of a finish, look for the former champion to win via points.
Kattar vs Sterling Pick: Aljamain Sterling via Points (+125)
Holly Holm vs Kayla Harrison Prediction — Women’s Bantamweight
- Holly Holm (+340)
- Kayla Harrison (-440)
Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm (15-6, 1 NC) is the massive underdog ahead of this UFC 300 preliminary card bout. After all, she’s facing The debuting Kayla Harrison (16-1), who’s a two-time PFL Women’s Lightweight Champion and a multi-time Olympic gold medalist.
As great as Holm’s career has been, I see her being in trouble this weekend. In addition to having all the tools to be a star in the UFC, Harrison is nine years younger than her counterpart while boasting a grappling arsenal that should overwhelm the veteran.
Considering how Holm has only been submitted once in her career, it’s more likely that Harrison wins via points.
Holm vs Harrison Pick: Kayla Harrison via Points (+150)
Sodiq Yusuff vs Diego Lopes Prediction — Featherweight
- Sodiq Yusuff (+124)
- Diego Lopes (-144)
This featherweight bout is a big one if either fighter wants to move up in the division. After all, Sodiq Yusuff (13-3) is currently the No. 13-ranked featherweight in the UFC while Lopes is still looking to crack the rankings.
Truthfully, I’m not too excited about this fight. Although both combatants are talented, neither has defeated any noteworthy opponents yet. Having said that, Lopes is coming off back-to-back ‘performance of the night’ bonuses that could give him some decent momentum heading into UFC 300.
Both featherweights know how to avoid being finished, so let’s keep it neutral by backing the fight to go the distance.
Yusuff vs Lopes Pick: Fight to Go the Distance — Yes (+145)

UFC 300 Predictions: Pereira vs Hill Early Prelims Odds & Picks
Jalin Turner vs Renato Moicano Prediction — Lightweight
- Jalin Turner (-230)
- Renato Moicano (+195)
Jalin Turner (14-7) looks to remain hot after KO’ing Bobby Green at UFC Austin to be named the performer of the night. Standing in his way is Renato Moicano (18-5-1), who improved to 4-1 in his last five fights with a unanimous decision win over Drew Dober two months ago.
Moicano is a solid fighter, but Turner holds the physical advantages. “The Tarantula” is six years younger than his opponent while standing four inches taller with a five-inch reach advantage. At the same time, Moicano is the better grappler and could put the favorite in trouble if he can get him down to the mat.
Given that Moicano has also won two of his last three outings as the underdog, I’ll back the upset outright.
Turner vs Moicano Pick: Renato Moicano ML (+195)

Jéssica Andrade vs Marina Rodriguez Prediction — Women’s Strawweight
- Jéssica Andrade (-138)
- Marina Rodriguez (+118)
Jéssica Andrade (25-12) put her losing ways in the rearview with a TKO victory over Mackenzie Dern back in November. Meanwhile, Marina Rodriguez (17-3-2) is also coming off a knockout victory, having finished Michelle Waterson-Gomez at UFC Vegas 79.
Rodriguez does have the size advantage, but Andrade has the better striking and grappling statistics. Having said that, it’s tough not to ignore that Andrade has been finished three times in her last four outings with each loss occurring before the second round was halfway done.
Regardless of how it happens, I’m taking Rodriguez to win outright.
Andrade vs Rodriguez Pick: Marina Rodriguez ML (+118)
Bobby Green vs Marina Rodriguez Prediction — Lightweight
- Bobby Green (-180)
- Jim Miller (+155)
Bobby Green (31-15-1, 1 NC) has struggled to find consistency lately, going 2-3 with a no-contest in his last six outings. Meanwhile, despite being the underdog, Jim Miller (37-17, 1 NC) has found plenty of recent success with a 5-1 record in his six previous fights.
But even though Miller is the hotter fighter, he tends to falter against tougher opponents, going 5-12 as the underdog. Green, on the other hand, is going to be hungry to return to the win column following his latest knockout loss. He’s also 7-1 in his last eight fights as the favorite.
Miller knows how to avoid being finished, though, so don’t be surprised if Green must go the distance to get the job done.
Green vs Miller Pick: Bobby Green via Points (+150)
Deiveson Figueiredo vs Cody Garbrandt Prediction — Bantamweight
- Deiveson Figueiredo (-300)
- Cody Garbrandt (+250)
Deiveson Figueiredo (22-3-1) looks to keep the momentum coming after beating Rob Font (via UD) in his bantamweight debut. On the flip side, Cody Garbrandt (14-5) is on the hunt for his third straight win following his return to the division.
Figueiredo is one of the best fighters in the world and easily proved that he can excel as a bantamweight in his win over Font. Garbrandt has fought well lately, but he also hasn’t gone on a three-fight winning streak in nearly a decade. The underdog also isn’t nearly as good of a grappler as the favorite.
Look for Figueiredo to wear Garbrandt down until the judges ultimately decide in his favor.
Figueiredo vs Garbrandt Pick: Deiveson Figueiredo via Points (+275)
