UFC Seattle is set to take off Saturday night and MMA fans across the globe including myself are ready for the huge slate of action! With all fighters weighed in, and all bouts made official we are ready to get right into the action.
Headlined by a huge match up in the Bantamweight division in Henry Cejudo vs Yadong Song. Cejudo, coming off 2 straight losses to current and former bantamweight champs, is looking to get back in the win column. With both fights being pretty competitive its hard to tell if the former triple champ has lost a step in his age. He is taking on the talented prospect in Yadong Song who is tough loss himself but also, to a former bantamweight champ. The loss does little to derail his career though, as he is still just 27 years old. He will be the first to the punch, but will the aging Olympic wrestler in Cejudo have enough to stifle the speed?
I have created this Best Bets guide to provide deeper analysis on some of the big fights and provide our readers here at Betting News with the best gambling experience possible for UFC Fight Night Seattle. Lines are moving, money is coming in and there is less then 24 hours to get our bets in so lets dive into it!

UFC Fight Night: Henry Cejudo vs Yadong Song Main & Co Main Events Analysis, Prediction & Best Bets

Rising Prospects Yadong looks to add to his resume with win over former triple champ Cejudo
Bantamweight – Henry Cejudo vs Yadong Song Analysis
In a big match up as far as career trajectory goes, Henry Cejudo looks to snap his skid against the rising prospect in Song. Cejudo has had a tough return to the UFC, running into the current and former bantamweight champs. Aljamain Sterling welcomed his return to the UFC with a very competitive fight that went to the judges in a close decision.
Henry mixing in striking with his world class wrestling was was handed the split decision loss in the end. He certainly proved he still has something left in the tank. Cejudo then squared off with the current champion in Merab Dvalishvili. In that fight the former olympian was out hustled and out matched by far being handed one of the worse losses of his career.
Cejudo was taken down 5x, a career worse, and being out struck by over 50 significant strikes. Merab has shown to be next level, but Cejudo’s age defiantly started showing its ugly head. On top of already being undersized for the division, Cejudo has his work cut out for him Saturday night.
Fighting across from him, Yadong Song also looks to jump back in the win column. His last fight being against former champion in Petr Yan, his take down defense is what actually cost him the fight. Giving up a costly takedown in the final round to seal his fate, the prospect showed he can hang with the greats with the striking % for both fighters being very close.
The striking was very competitive for the first 2 rounds, very impressive against Yan who is such a good kickboxer in his own right. Song has undoubtedly proved his skills amongst the best in the UFC only losing to top contenders in close fights so the price tag on the moneyline seems warrented in this spot.
I expect the prospect to pick Henry apart over the course of 5 rounds with his athletic ability, versatile striking, and footwork. Henry may have some success wrestling, but its hard to believe he will string together takedowns and control time to best the prospect.

Co – Main Event: Brendan Allen vs Anthony Hernandez – Middleweight
Anthony Hernandez has been blazing hot on his run to a middleweight title shot. Riding a 5 fight winning streak while also finishing 4 of those fights. It is hard to debate a there is a more surging fighter in the middleweight division right now. Hernandez has used his cardio as his most dangerous weapon. Taking his time and wearing down a fighter over the course of the fight until they gas out.
At this point is when Hernandez kicks it into an entirely different gear and breaks the fighter. He has consistently evolved his game thru each fight, with not only the striking looking more crisp but also taking his submission game to another level. Even adding a submission win over the B.J.J. world champion Rodolfo Vieira, entirely impressive. Coming off another dominant performance over a top contender in Michel Perreira. Hernandez looks to roll his momentum into a possible title shot with a win over the veteran in Allen.

UFC Seattle co main event with huge implications on the middleweight title picture
Allen is coming into this fight fresh off a tough decision loss to Nassourdine Imavov. After starting off the fight hot controlling Imavov for the majority of the 1st rd and winning it on the score cards. The 2nd and 3rd rounds wrote a different story though. Allen gassed out with the grappling pace he was trying to set, shooting 10 takedowns but only landing 1. Imavov was able to easily outstrike him by over 30 significant strikes which was ultimately enough to get him the win. Allen is a veteran at this point with over 15 UFC bouts under his belt, he is more then likely a finished product at this point. While being very solid in all facets of the fight game, it is hard to believe he will make many improvements at this stage of his career.
Hernandez and Allen previously matched up in 2018 on the regional scene. The 2 fought under the LFA promotion where Hernandez got the decision win. In the first matchup it was a very typical Hernandez fight. Allen looked fantastic in the early rounds and once he got tired, it was all Hernandez from there. Based on current career trajectory and skill, its hard to see the second matchup being much different.

Lightweight – Jean Silva vs Melsik Baghdasaryan Analysis
Jean Silva is a Brazilian product fighting out of the famed Fighting Nerds camp. He has made a very grand entrance to the UFC, rattling off 3 straight wins, finishing 2 straight. His wild striking style proves to be a real test. The power he holds in his hands is ungodly for this division and he has also shown he has a wrestling wrinkle in his game if needed.
It does seem he has fallen in love with the striking and only use wrestling if dire. If Silva gets his way, this will be a kickboxing match until someone falls which could be problematic if he is up against a tough chin.

Jean Silva vs Melsik Baghdasaryan face off in Seattle
Across the cage, Silva will be faced with a skilled kickboxer in Melsik Baghdasaryan. Coming off a 2 year lay off due to a torn labrum, he makes his return to a huge test. Before the injury, he was on a little run of his own winning 3 of his last 4 UFC fights. His only loss coming by submission, his takedown defense has shown some serious holes throughout.
The versatility in his striking has carried him to this wins, out striking most opponents with a barrage of leg kicks and boxing fleury’s. He has proven to be durable in his exchanges as he has never been knocked out in his career.
In what I expect to be a 15 minute kickboxing match rather a 15 minute MMA fight, bettors may look to the total for a more quality betting experience.

Bantamweight – Jean Matsumoto vs Rob Font Analysis
In this massive Bantamweight clash the aging veteran Rob Font is looking to claim the 0 of the highly skilled prospect in Jean Matsumoto. Font is coming into this fight with a little momentum after an impressive victory over another highly touted prospect in Kyler Phillips.
Dropping the first round pretty decisively, Font rallied once Phillips slowed and out struck Phillips by 23 significant strikes in the match. Losing 2 tough decisions to title contenders in Figueiredo and Sandhagen before that and being 2-3 in his last 5 its clear to see where his career is heading.

Font vs Matsumoto best bets
Being 11-7 in the UFC in his career, he has had an impressive career but the damage has piled up over the many wars he has had. I believe the durability is a ticking time bomb in his career due to the mileage on his chin.
Font is certainly against the odds here against Jean Matsumoto as there is a 12 year age gap between the fighters. Jean Matsumoto is a well rounded fighter skilled in multiple facets. His boxing has shown great improvement since his debut. With his submission game shining thru winning 2 of his last 5 by that method.
The versatility in his striking has proven to be deadly, throwing heavy leg kicks with volume throughout. Wrestling seems to be a little bit of an issue for him, as he has struggled to get some fighters to the matt consistently. In his last fight he was 1 for 10 in attempted takedowns, luckily he didn’t need them to secure the victory.
Once again , I do not believe he will need them as the speed gap between these fighters should be blatant. The 12 year age gap does not bode well for Font in this match up, as we have seen the bantamweight division be ruthless to aging fighters.
Jean Matsumoto vs Rob Font Prediction: Jean Matsumoto wins (-170) BetOnline
Jean Matsumoto vs Rob Font Best Bet: Jean Matsumoto Moneyline (-170) BetOnline
