The 17th stop on the NASCAR Cup Series tour takes place in Nashville, Tennessee. The 1.33 mile superspeedway makes for tight racing on low banking. There have been exciting finishes in the past, so we may be in store for another on Sunday.
Kyle Larson took home the trophy last year as part of his 10 win season. He started on the pole and. dominated throughout his entire run. This will only be the second race for the Cup Series drivers at this track, so practice and qualifying will be keys to a good finish.
Larson, as it seems to be almost every week, is the favorite according to BetOnline. However, many other drivers are close behind, and there is a lot of value in the underdog picks.

Kyle Larson +470
What else can be said about Larson? He is running at the front almost every week, and his dominance on superspeedways speaks for itself. He had 10 wins last season, and almost all of them came at superspeedways.
Larson will start 3rd on Sunday, so he already has a head start on most of the field. He is the returning champion, and he knows how to run well at this track from his extended time in the Xfinity Series.
He may not hold the most value this week, but he has shown the ability to win. With the right bet, there is money to be made with Larson. Buy in if you are looking for safety with your bet. If you are looking to take a bigger risk, I would pass for now.
Ross Chastain +600
Chastain has the most Top 5s out of anyone in the field this season. Nearly half of the races he has started this year have resulted in a Top 5 finish. He also has two wins to his name, and he will aim for a third Sunday.
Ross had a fantastic run for his team last season at Nashville. He wound up finishing 2nd, just 4 seconds behind Kyle Larson. Even though he has switched car numbers this year, he is still competing for the same team, and they know how to win.
Chastain will start 7th on Sunday, but he isn’t far off of pole pace. With traffic and cautions to be accounted for during race action, Chastain is a great choice to weave through and make his way toward the front.
Chase Elliott +950
Elliott is leading in the points, and he has shown his consistency throughout the season. As we move into the middle of the campaign, he currently has 10 Top 10s in 16 starts. He has also finished all but one race this year.
Elliott is a danger for other drivers wherever the series goes. Last season at Nashville he had a solid run and lead 13 laps, but was ultimately disqualified from the event after failing post-race inspection. That mistake cannot happen again if he wants to maintain the points lead.
At +950, Elliott shows, perhaps, the best value in the entire field. He will start 4th on Sunday after a solid showing in qualifying that had him just 0.09 seconds off of the pole. It’s not much of a risk, and Elliott has shown consistency, so he is a solid choice on the moneyline.
NASCAR at Nashville Prediction and Pick
Ally 400 Prediction: Ross Chastain to win (+600 at BetOnline)
There are many reason to pick Chastain this week, but the glaring number that stands out in the Top 5s. It’s not easy to finish that well every single week, but Ross is making the most of his opportunity with his new team.
The pick this week has safety, as well as value. Place your bets now for this driver to finish well. At BetOnline you can bet on drivers to finish in the Top 3 as well, so if you are looking for a less risky option, they have that line available at +195. It may not present as much value, but your chances at a payout go way up.
