IRP is a .686 mile short track that has been left off of schedules for years. With the return of the trucks, it also will begin the NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs. The Round of 10 kicks off Friday night under the lights.
Lots of racers have good shots to win this race, but out in front is Zane Smith. He will aim for that elusive 4th win of the season and a lock into the next round of the playoffs.

NASCAR Truck Series at Indianapolis Raceway Park Best Bets
Zane Smith +400
Smith will enter the race on Friday with the overall lead in playoff points. He has registered 3 wins and 13 Top 10s in 16 races. His last win came at Kansas Speedway a couple months back, but he has been running great in his times between wins.
Prior to the race last weekend at Pocono, Smith had finished in the Top 5 in 5 of the previous 6 races. A 13th place finish last weekend was the 3rd worst finishing position of the season for him. He has finished every race this season, and has lead the most laps.
Smith may not be the most valuable pick on Friday, but he does provide safety for your deposit. Unless an unfortunate mistake were to take place early in the race, Smith will be running up front again in Indianapolis.
Corey Heim +550
Heim may not be in the playoffs as a part-time driver, but he has definitely impressed this season. He has 2 wins in 9 starts this season. His last race was last week at Pocono, where he was able to run well again and finish in the Top 5.
Heim is making a name for himself to be a full-time driver in the series next year. He is racing for the right team, as Kyle Busch Motorsports picked him up and believes in the talent he possesses.
With his solid run last week, he will be running this week with momentum. He has good value, but the lines have gotten shorter this week. Many bettors have picked up on his talent, and soon, he will be at the top of the list in the races he runs.
Matt Crafton +3000
It’s weird to say that Crafton is a long shot, but in the lines, he isn’t expected to win with ease on Friday. However, with his massive amount of success over the years, you can’t count him out.
Crafton enters the playoffs in the final spot, and he is below the cutoff line for the next round. His drive and determination to advance will give him a higher chance of success over the next three races.
He only has 2 Top 5s in the last 5 races, so he is due for a good finish. Even without a win this season, Crafton is a sneaky bet at +3000. The value is at an all-time high, and he could provide bettors with a massive payout under the lights in Indianapolis.
