The 21st race of the Xfinity Series Season will take place at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, August 6th. A.J. Allmendinger is coming off of his 3rd win of the season last weekend at the Indianapolis Road Course.
Michigan will present new challenges this weekend, as the drivers will now maneuver a 2-mile oval that is relatively flat. Michigan has had a history of being a tough place to pass, and if you start out front, you usually have a pretty good shot at a good finish.
Even with 3 wins on the year, Noah Gragson hasn’t seen much love in the odds. This week is different, as BetOnline has him as the driver to look out for in Michigan.

NASCAR Xfinity Series New Holland 250 Best Bets
Noah Gragson +400
Noah Gragson has the honor of being in the #1 spot this week. He usually runs well at oval tracks, and he has a recent win at Pocono to push his win total to 3 on the year. He is currently 4th in the playoff standings, but he isn’t far from being in the top spot.
Gragson 10 Top 5s to lead the entire series this season. He also has a commanding lead in stage wins, which has boosted his playoff point total drastically. Noah has averaged a 6th place start throughout the year, so he will have a good shot to be up front Saturday.
He isn’t an overwhelming favorite, but it is still a safe bet to go with Gragson. Return will be good at +400, and his average start and finish this season should build confidence in any bettor.
Josh Berry +500
Berry has had a marvelous season, claiming 6 stage wins and locking himself into the playoffs with two victories. He currently sits 5th in the playoff standings, and is just a win or two away from competing for the top spot.
Josh has had good success as of late. He has 3 Top 3s in his last 5 starts and continues to push forward towards the points lead. He hasn’t found victory lane since Charlotte a couple months back, so he is more than due for a victory celebration.
The lines might be a bit tighter this week for Berry, but they still hold excellent value. At +500, Berry is more of a wild card bet, as his safety is not as high as the other two drivers on our list. Nonetheless, he is a great option for any bettor looking for a better return than the favorite would give.
A.J. Allmendinger +800
Allmendinger was the winner at Michigan last season, and he has plenty of swagger heading into the race Saturday afternoon. He was victorious last weekend in Indianapolis, to push his win total to 3 as well.
The points leader is continually up front, even as the season has progressed. He leads the series in Top 10s with a whopping 17 through 20 races. His average finish of 7th this season puts him above and beyond the competition.
Shockingly, Allmendinger is not among the top favorites on Saturday. Even with his win last year, and coming off of the win last week, the odds are still holding great value. Jump on this bet earlier in the week for a fantastic return on investment.
