Two weeks ago, Christopher Bell achieved the rare feat of winning three consecutive NASCAR Cup Series races. Today, Justin Allgaier will look to do the same on the Xfinity Series as he and the field take on Martinsville in the Marine Corps 250 (5:00 pm ET, The CW).
After wins at Las Vegas and Homestead, Allgaier enters this week with a 29-point advantage over former JR Motorsports teammate Sam Mayer atop the Xfinity Series standings.
The win in last week’s Hard Rock Bet 300 was his 27th career Xfinity Series win, and the reigning series champion has now won multiple races in eight of the last nine seasons.
If he can win at Martinsville for the second time in his career, he will become the first driver to win three straight Xfinity Series races since Noah Gragson in 2022. Gragson ended the regular season with consecutive wins at Darlington, Kansas, and Bristol, then won a fourth consecutive race at Texas to open that season’s playoffs.
Since Martinsville returned to the Xfinity Series schedule in 2020, following a two-and-a-half-decade hiatus, JR Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing have combined to win all nine events. Allgaier’s win came in the fall race in 2023, one of his team’s three wins at Martinsville.
The outlook is promising for a fourth win for the team this evening, as all four JRM cars qualified well. Polesitter Connor Zilisch and Carson Kvapil will start up front, while Allgaier (sixth) and Sammy Smith (tenth) will both start in the top ten.
Bet on NASCAR Odds at BetOnline and Bovada
If you like to bet on NASCAR odds each week, look no further than BetOnline and Bovada.
Both of these sites offer odds on NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series races, and you can also find series championship odds at both sites.
Why do we recommend both books instead of just one? Line shopping is a valuable part of successful sports betting, and one book may have a better number for one driver, while the other book may have a better number for another driver, so both can be useful on race day.
Additionally, line movement may occur at different times at different books. Therefore, you may get a more favorable line at one book over the other depending on the timing. Use these books in a cooperative manner to maximize your value and chances of success with NASCAR betting.

Marine Corps 250 Predictions and Picks
Harrison Burton to finish in the top ten (+225)
Last week, Burton just missed out on cashing a +400 play as he finished 11th at Homestead. The number isn’t as good this week, but back to the well we go and for good reason.
Burton is running well thus far this season, and he will start fifth in the Marine Corps 250, and after posting his best qualifying result of the season (fifth, his first time starting in the front five rows in 2025), the 2020 Martinsville winner has a promising outlook for this evening.
Brandon Jones to finish in the top five (+200)
Jones won this race three years ago during the last season of his first stint with Joe Gibbs Racing. In his first weekend at Martinsville since returning to JGR, he has qualified seventh, his best qualifying result since Atlanta over a month ago. After finishing third, sixth, and seventh in his last three races, Jones is good value for a top-five finish today.
Jesse Love to finish in the top five (+200)
Love enters the Marine Corps 250 third in the standings behind Allgaier and Mayer. In addition to his season-opening win at Daytona, Love has finished in the top five four times, including three finishes of sixth or better.
Dating back to last season’s regular season finale at Darlington, Love, who will start fourth, has finished in the top six 11 times in 17 races. Seven of those are sixth-place finishes, which is a bit wild, but that shouldn’t put you off backing him for a top five when he is in good form.
Justin Allgaier to finish in the top three (+100) + win the Marine Corps 250
Were it not for a late caution and an overtime restart in a dominant run at Phoenix, Allgaier would already have his three straight wins. Alas, he’ll have to settle for doing it today in the Marine Corps 250. Maintaining good form in NASCAR is down to a variety of factors, including good fortune. But other than the finish in Phoenix, everything is going right for the champ right now. Look for it to continue to.
