The 24th race of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season will take the drivers to historic Darlington Raceway. There are still 4 playoff spots up for grabs as we approach the Playoffs.

This will be the second race of the year at Darlington. Justin Allgaier was the winner back in early May, and since then, he has picked up 2 more wins and has the 4th position for the start of the Playoffs.

Three Cup Series drivers top the odds list this week, as they will make the return to the lower series. Kyle Larson tops all drivers, as he will look for another lower level win this season.

NASCAR Xfinity Series at Darlington Best Bets

Kyle Larson +300

Larson will make his second Xfinity start in the last 3 weeks on Saturday. In his last Xfinity start at Watkins Glen, he took home the win in commanding fashion. He is at the top of the odds again this week.

Larson has 2 wins in the Cup Series this season as well. He is one of the frontrunners for the Cup Title, and as the Playoffs begin for the Cup Series at Darlington, he will take some extra practice at the lower level.

Larson is not only favored in this race, but in his normal Cup Series race as well. At +300, there might not be as much value, but he is the safe play, as Cup drivers will storm the Xfinity field for some extra laps.

Justin Allgaier +800

We have to put the winner of the spring race on this list as well. Allgaier had a great run at Darlington, and he took the checkered flag for one of his three wins this season.

Allgaier is currently 4th in the projected playoff standings, so he will surely be a contender to the very end. He will have an added challenge, as he will contend with Larson, Bell, and Chastain this weekend.

At +800, don’t count out a repeat and a sweep at Darlington. He would love to improve his playoff position before they start, and winning is the best way to do that.

A.J. Allmendinger +1800

+1800?! Jump on the bet now, as Allmendinger has his best value of the season on Saturday. With 20 Top 10s in 23 races, he has positioned himself nicely for the start of the playoffs.

Allmendinger also has 3 wins this season, so the fact that his odds are the way they are is a shock to me. However, take advantage of the title contender, as he has had multiple races against these Cup drivers, and he has done fairly well.

Value is my key concern this week. Allmendinger is listed as an underdog, but he may be the most consistent driver in the field. Expect, at least, another Top 10. However, he could be up in the Top 5 towards the end of the race, and you will not want to miss out.
