The Cleveland Cavaliers have the opportunity to put the Magic down for the count when they collide for Game 6 of their first-round series on Friday, May 3.

The Cavaliers took the 3-2 series lead with a nail-biting 104-103 win over the Magic in Game 4. Paolo Banchero looked like he was going to single-handedly lead Orlando to victory with his 39-point effort, but Evan Mobley’s game-saving block on Franz Wagner in the dying moments sealed the deal for Cleveland.
Will Cleveland win to advance to Round 2? Or does Orlando have what it takes to force a Game 7?
Let’s discuss those questions and tonight’s best NBA bets as we dive into my Cavaliers vs. Magic Game 6 predictions and best bets.

Cavaliers vs Magic Game 6 Predictions & NBA Picks Today (5/3)
Time will tell if the Cavaliers can replicate their Game 5 success to move on to the next round tonight. Unfortunately for tonight’s visitors, that might be easier said than done.
For starters, the Cavaliers have lost five consecutive road games ahead of this evening’s affair. They already lost this series’ first two games played in Orlando, getting outscored by an average of 30.5 points per game. Struggling at Kia Center isn’t new, though, considering that the Cavs have lost 10 of their 13 previous road games against the Magic.
Meanwhile, Orlando has been rock solid at home lately. The Magic are on a six-game winning streak at home, holding those opponents to a 91.5 PPG while keeping four of them to under 90 points. They’re clearly one of the best defensive teams in the league and that claim only becomes truer at Kia Center.
Will the Magic find a way to maintain their winning ways at home in Game 6?
Winning on the road will only be tougher for the Cavaliers given their injury situation. Ty Jerome (ankle), Dean Wade (knee), and Craig Porter (ankle) are still sidelined while Jarrett Allen (ribs) is expected to be a game-time decision.
Being without Allen, who missed Game 5, would be a blow for the Cavaliers. The veteran center is one of Cleveland’s best players, proven by the team going 4-6 SU in the last 10 games that he’s missed.
Once the dust settles, I see the Magic extending the series tonight. The home team has won every game thus far, which is a trend I see continuing given the Cavaliers’ recent road struggles combined with the Magic’s success at Kia Center.
I’m unsure if it’ll be a blowout like Games 3 and 4, but I do see Orlando covering the spread. The Cavs have struggled to cover the spread, going 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games played in May.
Meanwhile, the Magic are 4-2 ATS in their last six games against the Cavaliers. After back-to-back blowouts in Orlando, winning by at least five points won’t be an issue for the home team.

Best Cavaliers vs Magic NBA Game 6 Prop Bet (5/3)
With this being a do-or-die game, I have no issue backing Paolo Banchero to recover over 24.5 points (+100) as the best Cavaliers vs. Magic prop.
Banchero has been phenomenal in his first NBA postseason, averaging 24.8 points on .485/.379/.714 splits through the first five games. While he’s only hit the Over on this prop twice this series, both instances occurred in the last two games — including Tuesday’s 39-point showcase.
The best players step up when their team needs them the most. After what I’ve seen from Banchero in this series, I’m certain he’s ready for the challenge.
