A late-game collapse by the Pacers saw the Celtics pick up a 114-111 victory in Game 3. Boston erased an 18-point deficit as Jayson Tatum led the comeback effort with a 36-point, 10-rebound double-double while Al Horford and Jaylen Brown combined for 27 points.
Does Boston have what it takes to advance to the NBA Finals? Or will Indiana live to fight another day?

Celtics vs Pacers Game 4 Predictions & NBA Picks Today (5/27)
The Pacers have learned the hard way that upsetting the Celtics is a lot easier said than done. They’ve shown flashes of promise now and then throughout the first three games, but their inability to play a full 48 minutes has them facing elimination tonight.
It looked like the Pacers were on their way to trimming down the series deficit in Game 3 as they led by 12 points at halftime. The lead was eventually increased to 18 points early in the third quarter but it didn’t matter as the Celtics outscored the home team by 15 points in the final frame to take the commanding 3-0 series lead.
It’s growing increasingly clear that Boston’s postseason experience is the difference-maker thus far. This year’s Eastern Conference Finals are the Celtics’ sixth in the last eight years, making it clear that those deep playoff runs are paying off against a less experienced Pacers team.
Yes, Indiana can score with the best of them, but the ability to successfully close out playoff games can only be learned by going through those experiences.
The Pacers’ lack of playoff experience could cost them against the Celtics.
The one thing that the Pacers do have going for them is that Game 4 is at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where they were on an 11-game winning streak before Saturday’s loss. On the flip side, the Celtics are 5-0 SU with a plus-11.8 average scoring on the road during the 2023-24 NBA playoffs.
Additionally, Boston has won five of its last eight trips to Indianapolis.
We’ll see if injuries can derail either side’s hopes tonight. For the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton is questionable as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury after missing Game 3. For reference, Indiana is 10-14 SU in the last 24 games that the 24-year-old guard has missed.
As for the Celtics, Kristaps Porzingis (calf) has been ruled out again while Luke Kornet (wrist) and Jrue Holiday (illness) are questionable. Having said that, it’s worth noting that Holiday did participate in Monday morning’s practice.
Jrue Holiday’s status is up in the air for Game 4.
While nothing in sports is guaranteed, I don’t see the Pacers coming back, so take the Celtics to win. Boston is, head and shoulders, the better team here after proving it can come back from a seemingly insurmountable deficit. I just can’t bring myself to trust the Pacers even if the home-court advantage is on their side.
I’m also backing the Over on the 222.5-point total. The first three games of this series have seen an average of 240.7 points scored with tonight’s projected total being surpassed each time. With the Over also being 5-0 in the last five Celtics-Pacers tilts, it’s fair to say that fireworks should be expected.

Veteran players know how to step up when a lot is on the line, hence why I’m taking Al Horford o2.5 threes made (+144) for the best Celtics vs. Pacers Game 4 player prop.
While his three-point shooting left much to be desired early in the postseason, Horford has turned things around lately. The veteran big man is averaging 4.0 threes with a 42.1% success rate in his last four games, finishing with the Over on this prop three times. That includes when he went 7-for-12 from deep in Game 3.
While all streaks must end, I don’t see Horford’s stopping tonight. The Pacers are surrendering the fifth-most threes made on the fifth-highest shooting percentage in the playoffs, meaning the 37-year-old has a great opportunity to continue his hot streak tonight.
