See Picks & Statistics For The GameCalifornia and NBA basketball are a match made in heaven. We’ve got Sunday night hoops with Sacramento coming into Los Angeles. Both sides have massive scoring potential. Let’s talk hoops!
Game Information
- Intuit Dome Inglewood, CA
- Sacramento Kings (33-29) visit the (34-29) Los Angeles Clippers
- Previous Matchup: LAC Win 104-88 November 22nd, 2024

James Harden has been cooking in his last three games.
Sacramento Kings @ Los Angeles Clippers
The Kings traded away Star Fox in response to his request, yet they went out and acquired two veterans pieces. Ownership wants to win and win now. How much success they could have is up for debate. However, they are 7-3 in their last 10 games. A surprising result considering Domantas Sabonis’ recent absence who is arguably their best player. The black and purple play with a chip on their shoulder and coach Doug Christie has this locker room buying in to what he is preaching.
FINAL: Kings defeat the Spurs, 127-109.
👑 Zach LaVine: 36 PTS, 4 REB

Kawhi Leonard is playing in this one as he continues to get back. Norman Powell remains out. The Clippers are 4-6 in their last ten but they have won two straight. At home, they are very tough to beat, as their 21-10 home record would indicate. Furthermore, the little brother of LA have won back-to-back games against the Kings. They held Sacramento to under 100 points in each victory. Coach Ty Lue and the Clips are tough to beat on their own floor and they’ve gotten the best of Sacramento this season.
Both of these squads will want this one badly as the playoffs near. Neither of these teams want to be in the play-in, but both are in danger of it. This should be a fun game to watch with prolific scorers on both sides. Free throw merchants on both sides. Talented European centres on both sides too.
NBA Game Analysis
If the Kings win this one or cover then it could be on the backs of their wings alone. They have been great. As mentioned, Fox is gone but now Sabonis is hurt too. Somehow this team is still finding ways to win. Another thing to consider is DeRozan might have some extra motivation being born in Compton. Former UCLA Bruin Zach Lavine loves to play in LA too. The defence needs to hole the line. They are 19th in points allowed per game.
Sacramento takes care of the ball but this is a bad matchup for them. If they do win this game then Jonas Valančiūnas will be the X-factor. He has been great without the aforementioned Sabonis. The Kings path to victory assuredly includes the Lithuanian getting the best of Croation counterpart Ivica Zubac. The Kings are also a very good free throw shooting team. If any team can escape the curse of the Fan Wall it can be them.
The Clippers had a tough stretch there but back-to-back wins has them in 8th again. This is a good defence with a solid rotation and two superstars. At home, with Kawhi, it is hard to bet against them here. In 21 games with The Klaw in the lineup this season, LA is scoring 114.6 points per game with an average point differential of +6.9.
Good team win, see you tomorrow #ClipperNation

Key Outlier.Bet Insights
- The Sacramento Kings are 8-3 in their last 11 games vs. top 10 scoring defences
- The Kings are 5-1 against the spread in their last 6 games on the road
NBA Best Bet: Los Angeles Clippers -6 (-110)
I provided the Outlier Insights so you would know that I am crazy. Hear me out, the Kings do not force turnovers and they are 29th in 3-point % allowed. James Harden has been hot and this seems like a matchup he can exploit. Leonard is back too. Playing inside of Intuit is tough and the Clippers are trying to put together some momentum. I am betting on them. Tail with caution, please.
