Prediction
This series between these two offensive juggernauts looked on paper to be one of the best 1st round matchups and boy has it not disappointed.
The Kings won Game 1 and Game 2 at home and will now look to pick up a win on the road in Chase Center to really put the pressure on the defending champs.
It was also announced yesterday that the Kings head coach Mike Brown was the unanimous selection for the coach of the year, and deservedly so.
Brown has led the Kings to their first playoff appearance since 2006 and unlocked the potential of De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis.
Tonight, Brown will be able to showcase his Coach of the Year skills in a massive game 3, in one of the toughest places to play, Chase Center.
The Warriors simply must win this game tonight and they will be without the services of the oil to their machine, Draymond Green.
Green was suspended for Game 3 after the incident in Game 2 where he stomped on Domantas Sabonis.
The Warriors will miss Draymond tonight, no doubt, but the defending champs are superb at home so a little home cookin’ should do the trick.
The Warriors were an exceptional 33-8 in Chase Center this season and they will need to be outstanding again tonight to climb back into this series.
And I think they will be.
The defending champions will get the job done tonight, at home, in what should be a packed house and an electric atmosphere in the Bay.
Give the Warriors to cover and get right back into the series.
Best Bet
Warriors -6 (-108) Bet Rivers
Player Prop of the Game
De’Aaron Fox o5.5 Assists (-143) MyBookie
It is hard not to take Fox in this spot, especially with how he has played so far to start the series and with his numbers against the Warriors.
Fox has 6+ assists in 5 of his last 6 games against the Warriors, including 9 last game in the Kings thrilling Game 2 win.
Fox can take over at any point scoring, but his facilitating is almost more impressive and the Kings will need him tonight if they want to hang around with the Warriors in their house.
I love the regular line but also the 8+ for really nice value.
He has 8+ assists in 3 of his last 6 games versus Golden State and I think he could flirt with a Double-Double once again tonight.
Bonus: Fox 8+ Assists (+230)
