Anthony Davis, LeBron James and the Lakers were able to better Steph and the Warriors, 117-112 and pick up a huge win away from home in Chase Center where the Warriors are so tough to beat.

Anthony Davis was sensational in game 1, dropping 30 points and 23 rebounds to carry the Lakers to victory.

Davis was the first Lakers to have 30 points and 20 rebounds in a playoff game since Shaq did it in 2004.

If Davis can continue to play like this in the series, the Lakers have a chance to play their way into the Western conference finals and truly compete for a championship.

The Warriors have other ideas.

For the defending champs, Game 1 wasn’t exactly how they wanted to start the series but with Steph Curry at the controls and the great play of Jordan Poole and Kevon Looney, there is no panic in the Warriors camp.

Getting a big win tonight, though, is paramount, as the Warriors want to avoid having to go on the road down 2-0.

And I think they do just that.

The Warriors were excellent at home all season long and they will be great in Chase Center tonight and level the series at 1 a piece.

I like them to cover the spread, and maybe even win by 10+ on the back of a big performance from Steph Curry.

It is hard to not take this prop, given that Looney has been an absolute beast on the glass the entire playoffs.
