The Suns had their winning streak stopped at three games with Monday’s 104-102 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Meanwhile, the Nuggets’ 128-103 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies marked their fourth win in a row as Nikola Jokic recorded a 29-point, 11-rebound double-double while adding eight assists.

Suns vs Nuggets Prediction & NBA Picks Today (3/27): Who Wins Season Series?
This evening’s showdown will decide the 2023-24 Suns-Nuggets season series. Denver opened the series with a 119-111 victory at Footprint Center on Dec. 1 before Phoenix exacted revenge earlier this month, tallying a 117-107 win at Ball Arena on March 5.
The win in Denver earlier this month was a rare one for the Suns. Before that victory, they hadn’t won at Ball Arena since March 24, 2022, losing five consecutive trips by an average of 15.2 points per game.
It remains to be seen if that success was a fluke, though. Phoenix is 5-7 SU as the away underdog this season, covering the spread in just six of those games. That’s less encouraging when you realize that the Suns are 3-7 ATS across their last 10 away outings.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets’ 82.9% winning percentage at home is second-best in the Association. They also cover the spread 51.5% of the time when they’re the home favorites and boast an 8-3 ATS record in their last 11 meetings with the Suns.
The Nuggets are thriving at Ball Arena this season. Will a visit from the Suns change that?
Even though the Suns stopped the Nuggets earlier this month, beating the defending NBA Champions again won’t be easy.
Since suffering that loss, the Nuggets have gone 9-1 SU with their 90% winning percentage ranking second-best in the league. They also rank seventh in points per game, first in assists, second in field-goal percentage, and fifth in three-point percentage.
For comparison, the Suns have gone 6-4 SU since March 5.
Nevertheless, winning could be tough for both sides given their injury situations. The Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) and Bradley Beal (finger) are both questionable to suit up in Denver tonight.
As for the Nuggets, their list is much longer. In addition to Zeke Nnaji (thigh) being ruled out, Aaron Gordon (foot) and Jamal Murray (ankle) will be game-time decisions. Nikola Jokic (back/hip) and Michael Porter Jr. (illness) are probable, but it’s clear that Denver’s roster won’t be close to 100%.
Jamal Murray (ankle) is questionable to face the Suns tonight.
After losing to the Suns three weeks ago, let’s take the Nuggets to get some revenge. Denver has all of the momentum in the world due to its four-game heater, outscoring those opponents by an average of 16.0 PPG. If Phoenix winds up being without Nurkic and Beal, this game could get ugly fairly quickly.
Keeping that in mind, I do feel good about the Nuggets covering the spread. On top of being 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games, the Nuggets are 4-2 ATS in their last six outings on a Wednesday and have covered the spread in eight of their last 11 encounters with the Suns.
Phoenix, on the other hand, is an uninspiring 3-7 ATS across its last 10 road games and has failed to cover on four of their last five trips to Ball Arena.
Doing the math, it isn’t difficult to side with the Nuggets in every aspect.

Best Suns vs Nuggets NBA Prop Bet (3/27)
Assuming that Nikola Jokic plays, how can we not go with the Over on his 8.5-assist total as the best Suns vs. Nuggets player prop?

Although he’s only hit the Over on this prop once in his last six games, I see that trend changing tonight. Jokic loves to set up his teammates when he faces the Suns, averaging 12.2 assists across the last six meetings while finishing with at least 11 helpers five times. Phoenix also allows the sixth-most assists to centers this season.
Considering how he’s also averaging 9.8 assists in his last 13 home games, I feel confident about this Jokic prop tonight.
Best Suns vs Nuggets Prop Bet: Nikola Jokic o8.5 Assists (-114)
