The Madness is here; the Big Ten Tournament is about to begin. It is time to find the best value betting on the Big Ten conference tournaments. It was tough to find something worth a sprinkle due to the inconsistent play from the teams in this conference, especially outside their home gyms. However, one team stood out, and I found it well worth some of your precious coins. Let’s get into it!

Sexy, dangerous, and fresh—these are a few words to describe the Ohio State Buckeyes since Chris Holtman’s firing.
The energy and culture surrounding the Buckeyes basketball team have been nothing short of impressive. Since making the coaching change, the Buckeyes closed out the regular season, going 5-1 with wins over Purdue, Michigan State, Nebraska, Michigan, and Rutgers. During that stretch, Bart Torvik has them as the 15th-best team in the country, with the 16th-best eFG% defense and a top 45 offense.
The only other Big Ten schools ranked higher than them are Purdue and Nebraska. This is a reminder to those reading this: the Big Ten Tournament is being played at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, not anywhere near Lincoln, so in reality, Purdue is the only other notable Big Ten school ahead of the Buckeyes.

I like Ohio State’s path to the final. They play Iowa on Thursday, whom they lost to by two points over a month ago in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa has been playing well, but after their loss to Illinois on Sunday, their NCAA Tournament hopes are out the window unless they win this tournament.
The Hawkeyes are notorious for playing little to no defense and not knocking down their shots on the road. Ohio State should be able to lock them down while playing at their slow pace. If they get past Iowa they will have to then take on Illinois and then possibly either Indiana or Nebraska. The final will most likely feature Purdue, who they have proven they can already beat.
There is value in sprinkling on Ohio State with the given odds. I do not think laying anything on Purdue is worth it at -105. It would be better to bet on them game by game. Outside of Purdue, I do not personally like nor trust another school. The Buckeyes will be my ride-or-die in this tournament.
