See Picks & Statistics For The GameTonight’s best matchup features the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs hosting the Grand Canyon Antelopes in a pivotal game. While Louisiana Tech comes in hot with back-to-back wins, Grand Canyon has faced one of the toughest schedules in the country. This is the perfect spot to back the Antelopes as they look to secure their first road win of the season.

Grand Canyon vs Louisiana Tech Predictions
Arguably the best game on tonight’s small college basketball slate features the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs hosting the Grand Canyon Antelopes. The Bulldogs are coming off back-to-back wins by 11+ points, shooting over 57% from the floor and 38% from three in both games. Meanwhile, the Antelopes are looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Georgia on Saturday. This feels like the perfect spot to back Grand Canyon.
Battle Tested Lopes
Grand Canyon has been one of the most battle-tested teams in the country, playing the 58th-toughest schedule, according to Haslametrics. That ranks over 200 spots ahead of Louisiana Tech, whose schedule sits at 265th in strength. Away from home, the Antelopes have been solid, boasting a top-80 defense and a top-150 offense. Defensively, they excel in several areas: 78th in adjusted defensive efficiency, 37th in turnover percentage, 59th in rebounding, and 127th in three-point defense. On offense, they are elite at getting to the line and converting their free throws, ranking in the top 60 in both categories.
Despite this being Grand Canyon’s first true road game of the season, they are well-prepared after facing tough competition on neutral courts, including Arizona State, Stanford, and Georgia. On the other side, Louisiana Tech has had a much smoother ride, playing only one team inside the top 50. Their schedule includes two non-Division I opponents, four teams ranked in the 200s, and three teams inside the top 190.
Keys to Success
The Bulldogs have issues taking care of the ball, ranking 289th in offensive turnover percentage. If Grand Canyon can force turnovers and push the pace, they will take Louisiana Tech out of their slower, comfort-zone tempo. That should be enough for the Antelopes to secure their first win away from home.
This is a spot where you suck it up and pay the juice. Why worry about covering a couple of points when you can just pay the juice and focus on Grand Canyon winning outright? For full transparency, I grabbed this prop last night at -111, and I still stand by paying the juice. After all, I paid -160 for Central Arkansas. This is a fair price to pay.
