Georgia is cruising towards a perfect regular season and remains in the top spot in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Tennessee has been much better than expected in the first year under Josh Heupel. The offense has made a major jump, but the defense is a work in progress.
Georgia has been beating up everyone this season, and it is hard to see how this will be any different against the rival Vols.

The Dawgs had yet another dominant performance last week, as they pummeled Missouri by 37 points. The best defense in college football lived up to its reputation again, holding the Tigers to only six points.
Tennessee has been a really fun story in the SEC. Coming into the season, expectations were low with a new coach and a lot of roster turnover. In college football and college sports in general, you never know what the result is going to be when you lose transfers and try and replace them with other transfers.
But the Vols appear to be on the right track at least in the short term. QB Hendon Hooker, a Virginia Tech transfer, is a big reason why. His QB rating is a whopping 190, and the fact that he is mobile gives the Vols a much better chance against Georgia’s defense.
That said, Tennessee’s offense is miles ahead of the defense, and that will likely do them in against the Bulldogs. I like Georgia to win and cover in Knoxville. They are 6-3 ATS this season, which is a solid record when you consider some of the big spreads they have had to cover. This week it might be more about their offense than defense. Tennessee may have more success than anyone else has against Georgia this season, but the Bulldogs should move the ball up and down the field on the Vols. This line is not a slam dunk but I still like the number.
Georgia vs Tennessee College Football Score Prediction
Georgia 41, Tennessee 16
