See Picks & Statistics For The GameIt’s a pivotal ACC clash as Georgia Tech takes on NC State in a game that promises plenty of intrigue. The Yellow Jackets have been surging, while the Wolfpack are desperate to find consistency and snap their recent struggles. With a suspect NC State secondary in the spotlight, we’ve got our eyes on a player prop that feels primed to cash.

NC State vs Georgia Tech Bet
Standalone game from the college gridiron, and we’re right back at it with another prop from the player’s market. Testing out a new receiving prop—last week’s pick came up two yards short. But the past is the past. We’re here to win today!
Malik Rutherford, Georgia Tech’s top receiver, has his receiving yards prop set at 49.5. He’s facing an NC State defense that’s had its struggles this season, ranking 78th in passing yards allowed per game and giving up nearly 250 yards through the air on the road. In four of their last five games, NC State has allowed a receiver to surpass 50 yards. And in all five, at least one receiver hit 45+ yards. They’ve been giving up plenty of chunk plays, too, with three of those five receivers eclipsing 100 yards.
Rutherford has been a steady contributor for the Yellow Jackets, averaging 62.2 receiving yards on 5.4 catches per game. While his production has dipped in conference play—down to 44.8 yards per game—his target volume remains solid. Over his last five games, he’s been targeted an average of 7.4 times per outing. A receiver who’s cleared this number in six of ten games should be able to top it again with five catches.
Regardless of the spread, I see this being a much closer game than expected. Georgia Tech’s recent form has been impressive, while NC State has been struggling. Even if the Wolfpack put together a better performance, expect the Yellow Jackets to stay competitive—and keep throwing late into the game.
Prediction: NC State (+8.5)
Prop: Malik Rutherford Over 49.5 Receiving Yards (-115) on BetOnline
