The Pac-12 is often one of the most unpredictable conferences in college football, and it it is doing Pac-12 things again this season. Oregon definitely looks like the best team in the conference, but some weeks it is hard to tell.
Early on UCLA looked like it might be in that conversation too, and with just one conference loss they are not out of the race just yet.
Both of these teams have looked really good at times and not so much at others. That is not just about wins and losses either. They both leave you wanting more.

Oregon Ducks vs UCLA Bruins Best Bet
Oregon Ducks ML
The Ducks are 5-1 SU but just 1-5 ATS on the season. That discrepancy is why many think the Pac-12 is going to get shut out from College Football Playoff discussions yet again.
The Ducks did beat Ohio State, but since then they have looked mostly average. Last week they barely beat Cal, and even though they won at the Horseshoe, their lone loss on the season was on the road at Stanford. Oregon may be very good, but their style of play is very different from when Chip Kelly was running the show. There is no flash to this program right now.
UCLA went to Stanford earlier in the season too, but the Bruins were able to get a win. Their challenges have been at home, where they already lost against Fresno State and Arizona State. Kelly has more offensive balance this season, and the Bruins have been able to run the ball effectively. They are 15th in the nation averaging 227 yards per game. This team is more physical than you think. They have struggled big time in pass defense, but that is not the way that Oregon usually attacks.
These teams are good but far from elite. I am leaning to the Ducks, who have shown they can rise to the occasion on the road already this season. At the same time the Bruins have not been great defending their home turf. This one should be more physical than the Pac-12 branding portends and will be won in the trenches. Look for the Ducks to win it late.
