College Football has already rolled around once again as we have three games on the slate this Tuesday evening. As always, we will be taking a peek at the slate and finding our best bets for tonight’s games. Of course, week day football doesn’t supply the best matchups on the field, but regardless, it’s still a day where football is on the screen.
Be sure to check out all of our NCAA Football game pieces and Expert Picks for the entire weekend, but for now, let’s look at tonight’s games!

- Troy +12.5 (-105)
- South Alabama -12.5 (-115)
- Over/Under 54.5
Best Bet: Kentrel Bullock Over 57.5 Rushing Yards (-114) BetOnline
Bullock is technically the 2nd string back for the Jaguars, behind Fluff Bothwell, but they’ve basically split carries all year long. Bothwell leads the team with 56 rushes, and Bullock has 53, but over the past couple of weeks, Bullock has been the go to guy for South Alabama.
Now, they also have a dual threat QB in Gio Lopez, but I trust Bullock to get the touches tonight, as Troy should take extra caution by spying on Lopez in the pocket. Last week, Bullock led the team with 66 rushing yards, and he out carried Bothwell 13-9. The week before at LSU, Bullock led the Jaguars rushers with 9 carries for 56 yards, with Bothwell only having 9 touches for 15 yards.
Tonight, South Alabama should dominate at home. They are 12 point favorites over 1-5 Troy for a reason, and should see plenty of ground work for both of their backs. Give me Bullock and Bothwell to both run for 60+ tonight against the Trojans.
Kennesaw State vs Middle Tennessee State Best Bets
Betting Odds
- Kennesaw State +9 (-110)
- MTSU -9 (-110)
- Over/Under 50
To be completely honest with you, I want no part of this game. Memphis is 1-5, losing 5 straight and being outscored by an average of 29.8 points per contest in those losses. On the other side of things, Kennesaw State hasn’t won once, and finally scored more than 1 touchdown in a game last week. I have no reason to even look at this crapshoot, and will be saving my money here.
Louisiana Tech vs New Mexico State Best Bets
Betting Odds
- Louisiana Tech -11 (-115)
- New Mexico State +11 (-105)
- Over/Under 49
Slight Lean: Louisiana Tech -11 (-115) BetOnline
I think the Bulldogs blow out the Aggies and handle business on the road, but I can’t quite bring myself to put the coin down. They blew out MTSU at home 5 days ago, so it is a bit of a quick turn around. However, against a team like New Mexico State, it shouldn’t be an issue. The Aggies are 1-5 this year, beating SEMO in Week 1, and giving up 30+ points in every single loss, including 48+ in 3 of those losses.
This could easily be a game that the Bulldogs run up the score, but at 30.5, their team total is a bit too inflated for my liking. I’ll probably be kicking myself for not taking this when they win by two touchdowns, but I’ll save my money for the rest of the week.
