Bears @ Commanders Analysis & Breakdown
As it stands right now, Commanders’ QB Jayden Daniels is a game-time decision but signs are pointing to him being able to play against Caleb Williams and the Bears.
Both Williams and Daniels were selected #1 and #2 in this year’s NFL Draft, and both guys have lead their respective teams to winning records through the first seven weeks. Both offenses look revitalized and both offenses have been firing over the last few weeks.
Caleb Williams and this Bears’ offense have scored 35+ in back to back weeks, averaging 31.6 points per game over their L3 games.
The Commanders come into this one with some questions in regards to the health of Jayden Daniels, and even if he is able to go, will he be able to run the offense like he always does. Rib injuries can be easy to re-aggravate, especially when your playbook contains as many QB-runs as this one.
Last week, when Daniels left the game early, it was backup Marcus Mariota that saved the day. Mariota not only stepped in, but he threw for 205 yards, 2 touchdowns and he added 11 rushes for 34 yards.
This week, if Daniels is able to start, look for the Commanders to put up some points against a tough Bears’ defense.
Caleb Williams o1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-107) via BetOnline – Get a $500 WELCOME BONUS
With how good Caleb Williams has looked over recent weeks, coupled in with the plethora of talent in this receiving core; Bears’ fans should be excited. the future is bright.
Chicago’s now 4-2 on the year, winning 3 straight games, including one coming in London. Williams and the Bears’ returned to the United States directly after their Week 6 matchup with the Jaguars.
The Bears’ are coming off a bye-week in the NFL and are now going into Washington to take on a beat up Jayden Daniels. The Commanders pass defense ranks near the bottom in the league and they’ve given up 12 passing touchdowns on the year.
Last week the Commanders didn’t give up any passing touchdowns, as both Andy Dalton and eventually Bryce Young both struggled.
Young Guns
Both Williams and Daniels have had success early in their career, but both guys have also been beneficiaries of an easier schedule, early on in the year. The Commanders 4 wins have come against the Browns, Panthers, Cardinals, Bengals and Giants; with their 2 losses coming against Baltimore and Tampa Bay.
Williams went his first two games without a single touchdown pass, but has now thrown multiple touchdown passes in 3 of his L4 games; including 4 touchdown passes in London. This week he returns home, to the place he was born; Washington D.C.
Caleb’s sure to have friends and family in the crowd, and just a little extra motivation this week. With all the narrative, we’re rolling with Mr. 1st Overall Pick; Caleb Williams.

D.J. Moore Anytime Touchdown (+180) via BetOnline – Get a $500 WELCOME BONUS
Through six games this year, DJ Moore is averaging 7.8 targets per game, 5.2 receptions but just 52.3 yards per game. Moore’s scored 3 touchdowns in in the L3 weeks, and he’s been targeted in the redzone 9 total times this season, a team-high.
The connection between DJ and Caleb was something people were questioning early on in this season, but it looks like they’ve synched up since then. Moore’s team high redzone share is what makes me love this play even more.
Washington ranks 2nd last in touchdowns allowed to wide receivers (10), and with Moore’s combination of strength and speed; I love him to get in for six today.
