See Picks & Statistics For The GameA month ago, the Bills were considered by many to be the top team in the NFL. But with three losses in their last five games, Buffalo doesn’t even look like a sure bet for the NFL playoffs at this point. After a big loss to the rival Patriots on Monday night, their AFC East hopes are hanging by a thread, and the schedule doesn’t get any easier with this trip to Tampa.
For the Bucs, there is far less urgency, other than the race for the top seed in the NFC. They will win the NFC South with ease and can all but lock up the division title with a win in this matchup.
If there is a silver lining for the Bills when it comes to their recent struggles, it is that they have been great at bouncing back from bad games. And in this spot, they are more than talented enough to go head-to-head with the Bucs.

Buffalo Bills vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Preview
Buffalo had a tough loss on Monday Night Football, as we all saw. It set them back big time in terms of the AFC East and the NFL playoffs but at the same time, there is not much to learn from a game under those weather conditions as it pertains to handicapping this week’s game.
We already knew Buffalo was not a great running team even though we would love to see them be better at it because of where they play. I am still pretty high on this team, one that despite playing below expectations has not lost two games in a row this season. In the nice warm weather of Florida, I expect Josh Allen and the rest of the offense to look a lot more like we have seen when they are playing well this season.
The Bucs have won three games in a row and are primed to cruise down the stretch of the season. This is their last game against a team with a winning record so perhaps they will put a little more importance to it. Tampa has the top-scoring offense in the NFL, and they are first in passing too.
This one should be a fun battle between Allen and Tom Brady, especially since the strength of Tampa’s defense is defending the run. The Bucs are more than comfortable playing in shootouts because they know they have more than enough weapons to win.
Buffalo Bills vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Best Bet
Buffalo +3.5
This line tells you all you need to know about what the NFL betting markets think about the Bills. Essentially, they are saying these teams would be about even on a neutral field. Tampa is going to move the ball and score, but Buffalo is one of the few teams that can match them. I love the way they respond to adversity too; I even see them getting this game outright. As long as that hook is there the Bills are the play. It will be interesting to see if the number moves at all as kickoff approaches. Josh Allen can outshine Brady.
Prop Watch: Buffalo Bills Over 24.5 Points
This one seems way off to me, and I think we can thank the algorithms for using last week’s data point as a “normal game” when it wasn’t. Buffalo is averaging 28 points per game this season but just as important they have not scored less than 26 points in a game after a loss all season long. They always bounce back. That and a nice “clean” track to play on and the Bills should cruise over this team total.
Buffalo Bills vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Score Prediction
Buffalo Bills 34, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31
