Bills vs Texans Predictions
The Bills are coming off an embarrassing 35-10 loss to the Ravens on Sunday night. Despite the setback, they’ve surprised the NFL, emerging as one of the more complete teams in the league after losing two standout wide receivers. Quarterback Josh Allen emphasized that the team’s unity is their driving force: “We just want it more and are playing as a team.” There’s nothing more dangerous in sports than a team playing as one.
While the loss looks bad in the box score, it wasn’t as ugly on film. The offense lacked rhythm, and some questionable calls killed their momentum. A trick play in the third quarter, starting from their own 18, stalled a promising drive and was a glaring example of poor play-calling. It was the kind of disjointed game they were due for after a 3-0 start.

On the other side, Houston has been one of the trendiest teams in the NFL but has played below expectations despite their 3-1 record. They’re 0-4 against the spread, a sign of underperformance. Their lone loss was a 34-7 blowout to the Vikings, and their three wins have come against teams with a combined 4-6 record (Colts, Bears, Jaguars). They have the potential but have yet to deliver a dominant win this season.
Some may argue Buffalo hasn’t been battle-tested either, but Sunday’s loss was a wake-up call, giving them a chance to regroup for the upcoming week. This looks like a perfect opportunity for the Bills to bounce back against a Houston team that’s barely getting by.
Buffalo ranks sixth in passing yards allowed per game, holding teams to under 170 yards through the air. Meanwhile, the Texans are third in passing yards per game, averaging 257.8. If the Bills can contain Houston’s air attack and force them to rely on the run, this game is theirs.
