The NFL is finally back, and it feels so good. We’ve got 18 weeks of football, and that doesn’t even include the playoffs. Unfortunately the summer is over, but that also means so are the dog days of betting on just baseball.
If you’ve had enough baseball, you’re in the right place. We’ve got plenty of season-long props to dive into this year but let’s get the ball rolling with some rookie props.
This year’s rookie class is full of studs and potential game changers for their respective franchises. Today we’re going to dive into the 3 top Wide Receivers of this rookie class, Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze.
Here are a few of our favorite 2024 NFL Future Specials!

Marvin Harrison Jr. (+110) / (+190) via BetOnline – Get a $500 WELCOME BONUS
Marvin Harrison Jr. looks ready for a monster rookie campaign but he’s is still stuck in Arizona. The Cardinals have not been good over the last few seasons and it’s the reason why the Cards were able to draft Harrison Jr. in the first place.
Son of Indianapolis great Marvin Harrison Sr., junior has shown why he’s more than just Mr. Harrison Sr.’s offspring. Marvin’s coming off back to back 1200 yard seasons with the Buckeyes and scoring 14 touchdowns in each respective season.
Harrison Jr. was the Buckeyes only 1000 yard receiver and he did it with a very middle tier quarterback. Entering his first season with the Cardinals, it’s quite clear Harrison Jr. will be top dog in this receiving core.
The Cards watched Hollywood Brown walk this off-season, joining Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was there for two sub-bar seasons with the team, recording just 1283 yards and just 7 touchdowns across 26 total games, having only played 13 of those games with Kyler under center.
It might be unfair to judge Brown’s performance because of his quarterback play, but Kyler Murray remains a question mark to me. He’s played in just 19 games over the last two years, recording just 24 passing touchdowns and seeing his completion percentage drop to 65%.
Big reason I don’t love Harrison Jr. for this prop, outside of his value at (+110), is the question marks surrounding his QB.
Malik Nabers (+265) / (+325) via BetOnline – Get a $500 WELCOME BONUS
With so many big names being drafted this season, Malik Nabers was definitely near the top of everyones draft board. He’s bringing a certain swagger and energy to a Giants receiving core that has seemed to lack both since the departure of Odell Beckham Jr.
In his last two seasons at LSU, Nabers recorded 1017 receiving yards and then 1569 receiving yards as the #1 in 2023. He finished with 14 touchdowns and 89 catches; averaging almost 17.6 yards per catch.
The one thing Nabers had in college that Marvin Harrison Jr. didn’t was true elite QB play. Nabers played alongside top 2 pick Jayden Daniels, he recorded 3800 passing yards and 40 touchdowns of his own.
Now Nabers goes from one of the best arms in College Football, to one of (I’m sorry) the worst arms in the NFL. Jones played in just 5 games last season, threw for 250 or more yards just once, and recorded just 2 touchdowns through the air.
Danny Dimes had 6 interceptions in those 5 games, recorded 2+ interceptions twice and he was sacked 30 times in just 6 games last year. Yeah, that wasn’t a typo, he was sacked an average of 5 times per game, the most sacks he took in 1 game was 10 and he got sacked 5 or more times in 3 of the 6 games.
It was a tough year for Dimes and the offensive line didn’t get any better. Still chalked full of injuries, and still figuring out the best fit for each guy. I’ve never been a big believer in the Giants, and despite all the talent I know Nabers has, I can’t bring myself to start believing just yet.

Rome Odunze (+300) / (+525) via BetOnline – Get a $500 WELCOME BONUS
Now we can talk about my pick to lead this category, Rome Odunze. Last year, as a junior at Washington, Odunze recorded 1640 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns as Michael Penix’s top target. He lead the Huskies in receiving yards and touchdowns; now in his first year with the Bears, he goes from a top tier College QB to a top tier NFL QB.
It might be too early to say that about Caleb Williams but if what we’ve seen in training camp and the pre-season is any indication of what’s to come, it’s okay to be a little excited.
My biggest reason for putting my units on Rome is the value at (+300) & (+525). Odunze represents probably the third guy on the depth chart for this Bears’ receiving core, but with so many weapons on this offense, it’s going to be tough for opposing defenses once the Bears get into the redzone.
Rome Odunze to lead Rookies in Receiving Touchdowns (Listed Players Only) (+300) via BetOnline
There’s a lot of questions with this Bears offense but I’d rather go with the unknown in Caleb Williams, rather than bank on Kyler Murray or Daniel Jones getting the job done.
Odunze has the skill set, he’s got the rapport with Williams, it’s just about what his opportunity will look like. We saw a similar rookie connection for the Texans last season.
CJ Stroud and Tank Dell looked unstoppable until Dell went down with injury. Dell finished with 7 touchdowns in 11 games last year, scoring 5 in his L4 games before he got hurt. He was seeing 3-4 targets per game for the first few weeks, before finishing the season with 4 straight games 8+ targets.
This offense has more mouths to feed than the Texans did last season, but once a connection has been established, we’ve seen what can come of it. With all the hype surrounding the Bears, Caleb Williams, and now Rome Odunze; I’m ready to buy in.
