It’s that time of year, only the best of the best are left standing and losers goes to Cabo. I didn’t write the rules, I just sit back and enjoy them.
It’s Conference Championship Sunday and I’ve got three touchdown scorers I’m on. We’ve only got so many more touchdown to bet this year so let’ jump right into it.
Here are our favorite TD Scorers for the Conference Championship Games!
- Kareem Hunt Anytime Touchdown (+175)
- Zach Ertz Anytime Touchdown (+300)
- Khalil Shakir Anytime Touchdown (+270)
Kareem Hunt Anytime Touchdown (+175)
This one seems a little weird, but hear me out. Last week Hunt out-carried Pacheco, 8 carries to 5; but Hunt averaged 5.5 yards per carry whereas Pacheco’s been struggling (3.6 YPC). Last week, Hunt finished with 44 yards on just 8 carries and scored the Chiefs lone rushing touchdown. Hunt’s now scored in 3 straight games for the Chiefs and in back to back games with a healthy Pacheco.
Andy Reid has shown time and time again that he loves going to Hunt near the goal line and it’s for good reason. Hunt’s got a knack for getting into the endzone, especially during the post-season. Despite playing in just 6 total playoff games, Hunt has scored 7 total touchdowns, 6 on the ground and 1 in the air.
Hunt’s scored in all 5 of his playoff games, despite seeing double digit carries just once. Buffalo’s given up 16 touchdowns to opposing RBs this year and they’ve given up 6 rushing touchdowns to opposing RBs in their L7 games. They rank 16th in opponent red zone efficiency and last week they allowed Derrick Henry to average 5.3 yards per carry.
If the Chiefs are playing with a lead or even just within 5 yards, look for Hunt to get a crack at the endzone. At a price tag of (+175) it’s hard for me to pass up.

Zach Ertz Anytime Touchdown (+300)
You know I love betting TEs here. It’s Zach Ertz against his former team, he now plays for a division rival and there’s a shot at the Super Bowl on the line. Some story lines just write themselves.
Ertz has seen 3+ red zone targets in 3 of the Commanders L4 games; including 4 total red zone targets in the Commanders 2 playoff games. He found his way into the end zone last week, recording 5 targets, 5 receptions and just 28 yards to along with his touchdown.
Ertz sits third on this Commanders team in touchdowns this year, 2nd in receiving touchdowns and 2nd in receptions/receiving yards and targets. He’s quickly become one of Jayden Daniels favorite targets and more so once they get around the end zone.
Philly’s defense has been elite this year, shutting down the oppositions aerial attack and limiting touchdowns threw the air. Despite that, I love Ertz to score today. Ertz was a part of the Eagles’ one and only Super Bowl Championship Squad back in 2017; not only was he a part of that team, he lead the team in all receiving categories.
Zach led the eagles in targets, receptions, receiving yards and was 2nd in receiving touchdowns. He continued his dominance into the post-season, leading the team in targets, receptions, finishing 2nd in yards and receiving touchdowns during Philly’s Super Bowl run.
Ertz wasn’t there the last time Philly made a Super Bowl, but wouldn’t it be hilarious if he was the reason they didn’t get back there.

Khalil Shakir Anytime Touchdown (+270)
Allen’s going to have to throw the ball if the Bills hope to beat the Chiefs. Allen’s coming off a game where he threw no touchdown passes, it was the 1st time he’s won a game like that. The only two other playoff games in which Allen threw no touchdowns he lost both. Once in 2020 to the Texans and once to Joe Burrow and the Bengals in 2023.
The last time Allen faced Mahomes in the AFC Championship Game, he threw for 329 yards and 4 touchdowns. It was Gabe Davis that recorded 200+ yards and caught all 4 of Allen’s touchdowns. This year it feel like Shakir could fit a similar role for this Bills team.
Shakir saw 12 targets, catching 8, in their one matchup this year. Add to that the fact he’s now caught 12 of his 13 targets in two post-season games this year, recorded 6+ in both games and has yet to score. Feels like a big Shakir day could be right there, on the horizon.
