Colts vs Titans NFL Week 6 Predictions & Picks (10/13)
The Colts head into this NFL Week 6 showdown following a disappointing 37-34 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. It looks like they’ll have starting QB Anthony Richardson back in the lineup this weekend, though, leaving time to tell if his presence helps lead Indianapolis to its first road win of the year.
Meanwhile, the Titans are coming off their bye week, meaning they should feel well-rested. They last picked up a 31-12 win over the injury-plagued Miami Dolphins in Week 4, however, they’re still searching for their first home win.
Winning on the road has been an issue for the Colts as they’re 1-4 SU in their last five away games dating back to last year. At the same time, the Titans haven’t been much better at Nissan Stadium given that they’re 1-5 SU with a minus-4.0 average scoring margin in their last six home games.
Having said that, the Colts are 9-3 SU across their last 12 trips to Nashville.
The Titans haven’t had much luck as the favorite or at Nissan Stadium lately.
It’s also worth noting that Tennessee is only 1-3 SU in its last four outings as the betting favorite.
When it comes to these AFC Rivals, the Colts have a clear-cut offensive advantage. They’re currently ranked 13th when it comes to points and total yards per game, as well as red-zone scoring percentage. Conversely, the Titans rank 20th, 30th, and 17th, respectively, in those regards.
Things do flip in Tennessee’s favor on defense, though. The Titans are allowing the fewest total yards in the NFL while surrendering the 15th-fewest points per game. The same can’t be said for the Colts, who are giving up the most yards and ninth-most points.
The Colts must figure out how to improve on the defensive side of the ball.
I had a hard time predicting this game due to both team’s clear struggles. Having said that, I’m taking the Colts to win. I won’t be surprised if this game goes the other way, however, the Colts actually have an offense whereas the Titans have struggled to score against anyone who hasn’t been the Dolphins.
But no matter who emerges victorious, sticking with the Under on the 43-point total is the way to go. These teams just don’t put up a lot of points when they collide as four of the last six Colts-Titans matchups finished with 41 or fewer points. Considering how the Under is also 6-2 in Tennessee’s last eight games as the home favorite dating back to 2022, I don’t anticipate much offense this weekend.

Best Colts vs Titans NFL Week 6 Player Prop
I’m going with Tyjae Spears o28.5 rushing yards (-114) for my top Colts vs. Titans NFL Week 6 player prop.
After a slow start to the 2024 season, Spears finally had his best performance in Week 4. He rushed for 39 yards on 15 carries (while scoring a touchdown) and looks to follow that up with a strong performance against the Colts.
Indianapolis has been susceptible to the run all season, allowing 157.0 rushing yards per game (31st) and 4.5 yards per carry (18th). That’s good news for Spears, who averaged 54.5 rushing yards in two matchups against the Colts last season while finishing with the Over on both occasions.
Best Colts vs. Titans Player Prop: Tyjae Spears o28.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
