Bills @ Jets Analysis & Breakdown
All eyes are on the Jets after they fired Robert Saleh.
Both the Bills and the Jets are coming into this game off back to back losses. The Bills started the season 3-0 with Josh Allen being talked about as a potential MVP Winner.
The Bills have now lost back to back games, to the Texans and Ravens, with Allen averaging just 155 passing yards per game with just 1 touchdown pass. Buffalo’s first 3 games came against the Cardinals, the Dolphins (Tua hurt), and the Jaguars; 3 teams with a combined record of 5-12.
Now the Jets come into this game off back to back losses AND the firing of their head coach, Robert Saleh. In what was already going to be a tough divisional game, on a short week, was just made that much tougher with no head coach.
Jeff Ulbrich, the team’s defensive co-ordinator will serve as the team’s interim head coach to finish the year. He’s got no experience as a head coach and he’s had a short week to get his guys prepared.

Of course we’re going back to Garrett Wilson, just when everyone’s off this kid, we go right back. He’s coming off a game in which he saw 23 targets, caught 13 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown.
Wilson’s now scored in 2 of his L3 games and he’s seen 8+ targets in 4 of the Jet’s 5 games this year.
He’s easily one of Rodgers favorite targets, but the Jets’ started the year against some of the best secondaries in football. The Jets faced the Niners, Titans, Patriots (Christian Gonzalez), and then Denver in bad weather conditions.
This week he gets a Buffalo secondary that, I would argue, has had a pretty easy schedule so far. The Bills played the Kyler, Skylar Thompson, TLaw, and then got dismantled by the Ravens and Lamar Jackson.
Off a loss to the Texans and now playing in their third straight road game. The Bills secondary and this team has gotta be a little tired, look for Wilson and Rodgers to exploit that.

Mack Hollins may not wear shoes but he sure as hell catches touchdowns.
This one’s a little weirder but just hear me out. Hollins has seen 6 targets in back to back weeks, and this week it looks like the Bills could be without both James Cook and Khalil Shakir.
The Bills have lost back to back games after starting the year 3-0 and looking unstoppable. In Week 5 against the Ravens, they were stopped. After being trounced by Baltimore, in Baltimore, the Bills would go to Houston and it looked bad early.
The Bills were down 17-3 going into the half and Josh Allen had just missed Mack on a ‘go route’ that would’ve resulted in a touchdown. Mack sits third on the team in targets, right behind Shakir in 2nd and Kincaid in the top spot.
Hollins’ has seen 17 targets this year but only 9 of those targets have been catchable balls; meaning it’s the throw not his hands. Off of back to back losses, this is when Allen needs to lock-in and play like he did for the first 3 weeks.
Last year the Bills lost to the Jets on Day 1 of the season, it was on Primetime and even without Rodgers, the Jets went home with a win. If Allen’s looking for revenge, no better way than to do it early with a Mack Hollins deep ball.
