Russell Wilson is back for the Seahawks, but is his return in time to turn things around for the Seahawks. NFL betting odds do not cast a great outlook for Seattle’s chances to reach the postseason or finish with a winning record.

Perhaps the bigger news is that Aaron Rodgers will return for the Packers. After all the controversy will he be right? Or will it be like the opening game of the season, when he was terrible against the New Orleans Saints?

Green Bay with a healthy Rodgers is definitely a Super Bowl contender. It is hard to know what we are getting from both quarterbacks in this spot, but it is exciting.

Seattle Seahawks vs Green Bay Packers Best Bet

The Seahawks are hoping that Wilson is enough to get the season back on track. Two weeks ago they beat Jacksonville 31-7, but other than that, times have been very lean without Wilson.

The offense has been meager, and the defense is nowhere near good enough to carry the team as it did in the Legion of Boom days. The Seahawks are still suffering injuries at the running back position, but Wilson is good enough to cover that. Green Bay has been playing some great defense so he will have to be sharp in his return on Sunday.

Last week the Packers had the Jordan Love experience, and it was clear that he is not quite ready to lead an NFL team. This week Rodgers is back, and that gives Green Bay a great chance to pick up where they left off. They actually covered last week, which makes for eight ATS wins in a row. Rodgers steals all the headlines, but Green Bay’s defense might be the most underreported story of this NFL season. They were great again last week, holding the Chiefs to just 13 points. It was a good tune-up for the Seahawks, who can definitely cause problems when Russ is cooking.

The Packers have played in six straight unders. However, I am leaning to the over because I think both teams are going to be energized by the return of their quarterbacks. Green Bay is definitely the better team overall, but Seattle can be dangerous when they are in catchup mode. There will be some big plays in this one that will push the score over the total.

Love the value of this one. Russ is not back from injury to hand it off, and I like Lockett, and teammate DK Metcalf to have big days as a result. You can also get over 80+ at an even nicer number, which might be even better value. Lockett has no games between 60 and 99 yards. He has been boom or bust, and I like the spot.
