The 2024 NFL season is officially in the books, ending with the Philadelphia Eagles overpowering the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in New Orleans. With that chapter closed, all eyes now turn to the 2025 season and the race for Super Bowl 60. The odds are already out, but is there any real value in betting on a champion this early?

Where is there Value?
With the 2024 NFL season in the books, capped off by the Philadelphia Eagles steamrolling the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in New Orleans, it is time to shift gears and look ahead to what 2025 has in store. The Super Bowl 60 odds are already out, and no surprise, the Eagles sit comfortably at the top at +550. Right behind them are the usual suspects: the Chiefs at +600 and the Ravens at +650. The top ten teams are filled with familiar faces, but the big question remains—does throwing money on any of them make sense right now?
Personally, I steer clear of future bets in the offseason. There is just too much left to unfold. Teams still need to run through their offseason evaluations, make coaching changes, line up free agent signings, and, of course, prepare for the draft. The landscape of the league can shift dramatically between now and then. Injuries, surprise trades, unexpected retirements, anything can happen, and it usually does.
That said, once the dust settles after the draft and rosters start to take shape, I will circle back to these odds. Maybe there will be some juicy long shots worth a look, or perhaps teams like Buffalo or Baltimore finally figure out how to get over that postseason hump and punch their ticket to the Super Bowl. Until then, buckle up because the offseason madness is just getting started!
