For many of the tons of people who watch the Super Bowl each year, the halftime show, not the game, is the part they look forward to the most.
After Rihanna—and her baby bump—took the halftime spotlight at Super Bowl 57 last year, the halftime show for today’s Super Bowl 58 matchup (6:30 pm ET, CBS), will feature another highly decorated performer.
As the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs prepare for the second half at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, eight-time Grammy-winning R&B artist and actor Usher Raymond (it’s Ursher, baby!) will hit the stage for the Super Bowl 58 halftime show.
Many people will be tuning in to jam along with the performance by the “You Make Me Wanna…,” “Yeah!”, “My Boo,” and “Climax” singer, while many others will be tuned in to see if their Super Bowl halftime show bets cash.
Super Bowl 58 Halftime Show Odds
As with other Super Bowl novelty prop bets like Super Bowl coin toss betting or Super Bowl Gatorade color betting, U.S. sports bettors can find Super Bowl halftime show odds at sports betting sites like BetOnline, Bovada, and BetUS.
A lot of information has emerged about the show well ahead of today’s performance, so many of the Super Bowl halftime show betting markets that were available are no longer up.
Here’s a look at some of the Super Bowl 58 halftime show odds that were previously available at BetUS.
Number of Songs in Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance
- Over 9.5 (+110)
- Under 9.5 (-150)
Each of the past two Super Bowl halftime performances featured 11 songs, while The Weeknd’s 2021 performance (nine songs) was the most recent one to feature fewer than ten songs.
But what song will Usher perform first in his halftime show set? Initially, “Yeah!” and “OMG” were the favorites at BetUS, but “My Way” is now the heavy favorite.
First Song/First Part of Song to be Performed in Usher’s Set
- “My Way” -800
- “OMG” +125
- “Yeah!” +150
- “Scream” +600
- “Love in This Club” +800
- “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love” +800
- “Superstar” +1400
- “Burn” +2000
- “GLU” +2000
- “Good Good” +2000
- “Boyfriend” +2500
- “My Boo” +3000
On Friday, February 9, Usher’s latest album, Coming Home, will be released. Could we see him perform one of the 20 songs on the album?
Will Usher Debut a New Song During His Performance?
- Yes -125
- No -115
“Ruin,” the tenth track on the album, is already available on streaming services, and a music video for the song was released last week. So, if he does perform one of the songs on the album, that would seem to be a good candidate.
The potential for collaborations and special guests always generates a lot of speculation and excitement.
Last year, many expected Rihanna to include at least one guest. She did, but the surprise reveal was her pregnancy, not another performer like Jay-Z, Drake, or A$AP Rocky, the father of her two children.
Will we see any guests join Usher this year? Current odds favor not just one or two collaborations, but three or more.
Number of Collaborations During Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance
- Over 2.5 collaborations (-165)
- Under 2.5 collaborations (+120)
But who will join Usher on stage? Alicia Keys, his partner on “My Boo,” along with Ludacris and Lil Jon, who featured with Usher on “Yeah!”, are favorites to appear on stage.
- Lil Jon -500
- Alicia Keys -350
- Ludacris -250
- Sean “Diddy” Combs +200
- Justin Bieber +250
- Marshmello +300
- Nicki Minaj +300
- Pitbull +350
- will.i.am +350
- Lil Wayne +400
- David Guetta +550
- 21 Savage +650
How will his show come to a close? As with the odds for his opening song, there is also now a heavy favorite for what his last song will be.

- “Yeah!” -500
- “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love” +125
