Steelers vs Eagles NFL Week 15 Predictions & Picks (12/15)
NFL fans will be treated to a showdown between two of the hottest teams at Lincoln Financial Field this weekend.
The Steelers are heading to Philly with a 7-1 SU record in their last eight games following last week’s 27-14 win over the rival Cleveland Browns. A big chunk of Pittsburgh’s success stems from quarterback Russell Wilson, who’s turned back the clock with a 64.8% completion rate, 1,784 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and three interceptions in seven starts this season.
Having said that, time will tell if Wilson can maintain his current pace given that No. 1 wide receiver George Pickens will likely miss Sunday’s outing with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are on the hunt for their 10th consecutive victory after a 22-16 win against the Carolina Panthers. Nick Sirianni’s team has now not lost since Week 4, winning the last nine outings by an average of 13.1 PPG.
The Eagles aren’t showing any signs of slowing down amid their win streak.
Let’s also not forget that it’s been a long time since the Steelers won at Lincoln Financial Field — 59 years, to be exact. The Eagles have won each of the last 10 matchups in Philadelphia since then, most recently picking up a 35-13 home win on Oct. 30, 2022.
It’s worth noting that the Steelers are also only 2-4 ATS in their last six meetings with an NFC East team, whereas the Eagles are 4-2 ATS in their last half-dozen meetings with an AFC North franchise. Philadelphia also owns a whopping 82.6% win percentage as the home favorite since the start of the 2022 NFL season. For comparison, the Steelers have a 58.8% success rate as the road underdog during that stretch.
With that being said, I’m taking the Eagles to win their 10th straight game on Sunday. The Steelers will put up a fight, no doubt, but the Eagles haven’t lost in nearly three months and constantly find new ways to escape the clutches of defeat.
With two of the NFL’s top-10 offenses on display in Philly, it’s a no-brainer that backing the Over on the 43-point total is the best betting option here. It’s a number that’s been surpassed thrice in the Eagles last four outings, as well as in each of the Steelers’ last three games.

Best Steelers vs Eagles NFL Week 15 Player Prop Bet
As Dallas Goedert still nurses his knee injury, I like the idea of going with Grant Calcaterra o2.5 receptions (-107 on SportsBetting) for the best Steelers vs. Eagles Week 15 player prop bet.
In the five games that Goedert has either missed or exited early due to injury, Calcaterra has thrived in his fellow tight end’s absence. The Eagles pass-catcher was targeted 16 times in those games, catching every single target for 176 yards and a touchdown. He also averaged 3.2 receptions per game, finishing with the Over on this prop four times.
Calcaterra has a good chance to keep that run going against the Steelers, who allow 5.8 receptions per game to TEs this season — tied for the seventh-most. After playing 91% of offensive snaps last week, the 26-year-old TE shouldn’t have an issue hitting the Over again.
Best Steelers vs. Eagles Player Prop: Grant Calcaterra o2.5 Receptions (-107)
