Golden Knights vs Kraken NHL Predictions & Picks (11/8)
The gap between these Pacific Division rivals continues to grow as the 2024-25 campaign progresses. The Golden Knights enter tonight’s clash tied with the Los Angeles Kings for a division-leading 19 points while the Kraken sit sixth in the race at 11 points.
The gap between the Kraken and their rivals will grow wider if they can’t figure out how to stop their recent skid. Not only have they dropped seven of their last eight outings, but they’re also currently on a four-game losing streak that has seen Dan Bylsma’s team outscored 15-4 on aggregate. That’s without bringing up how Seattle has only scored three goals in its last trio of contests.
Meanwhile, the Golden Knights are trending in the opposite direction. They improved to 6-1 SU in their last seven games with Wednesday’s 4-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers that saw defenseman Noah Hanifin lead by example with his first two-goal performance of the year. Jack Eichel also left his mark with a three-point effort.
Will the Golden Knights extend their winning streak tonight?
The Golden Knights are the favorites tonight and a big part of that is their world-class offense, which averages 4.46 goals per game (2nd). Meanwhile, goals have been harder to come by for the Kraken, who are operating with a 2.79 G/PG clip (21st). Additionally, Vegas has been more successful on the power play (33.3%, 3rd) than Seattle (17.8%, 18th).
The Golden Knights have received production across the board as five of their players have 12-plus points while seven have tallied at least 10. Conversely, Jared McCann (16) is the only Kraken player playing at a point-per-game pace while Brandon Montour is the only player on the team with at least 10 points.
Time will tell if Seattle goaltender Joey Daccord is ready to handle Vegas’ offense. Even though his team has struggled to put up wins, Daccord has been solid lately with a .920 save percentage in his last six starts. He also owns a .944 SV% with a shutout victory in two career meetings with the Golden Knights.
As for the visitors, it’s more than likely that Adin Hill will make his ninth start of the campaign. The Golden Knights puck-stopper hasn’t tasted defeat since Oc. 17, going 4-0-0 with a 2.23 GAA, .913 SV%, and one shutout in his last four starts.
Golden Knights G Adin Hill hasn’t lost a game in over three weeks.
I don’t have to think too much to predict a Golden Knights victory tonight. They continue to look like Stanley Cup contenders whereas the Kraken are on track to spend the season in the NHL’s basement. Given that Vegas has also won five of its last six encounters with Seattle, I don’t anticipate an upset at Climate Pledge Arena.
I’m also feeling risky again, so let’s take the Golden Knights on the puck line, too. On top of winning six of their last seven outings, Bruce Cassidy’s club boasts a plus-2.3 average goal margin while notching five multi-goal wins during that stretch. Now they get to take on the Kraken, who’ve lost five of their last six outings by two-plus goals — including each of the last four.
With Vegas nearly doubling Seattle’s offensive production this season, I don’t anticipate a close game.

Best Golden Knights vs Kraken NHL Player Prop (11/8)
For tonight’s best Golden Knights vs. Kraken NHL player prop bet, I’m going with Noah Hanifin o0.5 points (+117).
Hanifn is off to a great start to the season. He’s picked up eight points in his first 13 games, putting him on pace for a career-high of 50 if he doesn’t miss another game. The 27-year-old has been playing some of his best hockey since being traded to the Golden Knights back in March, tallying 25 points in 39 games between the regular season and playoffs — a 0.64 PPG pace!
Even though he’s only faced the Kraken 13 times in his career, Hanifin has made the most of those opportunities, amassing 12 points during that stretch. After Seattle gave up at least one point to three Colorado Avalanche defensemen in its last outing, I’m confident in Hanifin’s outlook tonight.
Best Golden Knights vs. Kraken Player Prop Bet: Noah Hanifin o0.5 Total Points (+117)
