1. Dylan Cozens Point +105 on BetOnline:

Dylan Cozens has fit like a glove and is producing BIG points for the Ottawa Senators
A first time revenge angle tonight, Dylan Cozens will go against his former team the Sabres since being traded for Josh Norris at the trade deadline. Cozens has fir like a glove in the Ottawa Senators top 6. Since the trade he has a point in 7 of the 8 games. He has helped fill out the Senators top six which now provides major scoring threats up and down the line up.
This matchup really couldn’t get better. Besides Cozens being on a hot streak he gets the only other team who has has played for. And they just so happen to be allowing the most goals against in the league over the last 10 games. Now the price does seem a little too good to be true due to Cozens’ recent performance. However, he only has a point in 45% of all games this season and if you remove his recent performance he only has a point in 23 of the 61 games he played on the Sabres. We are getting a deep discount here due to his full season performance, making this an NHL best bet.
As mentioned above, the Sabres are allowing the most goals against in the league over the last ten games. They are averaging a whopping 4 GA/GP in that span. To make this even tasiter, the Sabres are allowing the most goals to centers in the league in that same span. Cozens’ point looks way too tasty to pass.

2. Jani Nyman o1.5 SOG -115 on BetOnline:

The Seattle Kraken have a new triggerman in Jani Nyman
Jani who?! Yes you read that right. Jani Nyman, the 2nd round pick in the 2022 NHL draft has turned some heads for Seattle. While he has only played 6 NHL games, he has done enough to make his way into the top 6 and on the top power play unit. He’s helped give more scoring depth to a team who needs more young talent “cracking” the roster (get it?). And tonight we get a beautiful price on a 1.5 SOG (shots on goal) line.
Nyman has two goals and four points across his six NHL games. He plays on a line with top center Beniers and top forward Kakko. His large frame lets him help be the bully and trigger man on a line who consists of two solid playmakers. He has hit his 1.5 SOG line in three of the six games he has played, and has hit his 2.5 SOG line in two of those games. He has averaged 4 shot attempts across those games as well.
Now with a more prominent role Nyman could become a SOG darling. We get a great price because he is still a relatively unknown player, especially to the books. He also just played a career high of 17 minutes in his last game, four more minutes that his average so far. He is clearly getting more and more looks and getting more comfortable in the NHL, making his SOG a best bet.

3. Ryan Hartman o2.5 SOG +115 on BetOnline:

Ryan Hartman playing on the top line
Follow the volume. And right now an unexpected player is ripping puck. Ryan Hartman of the Minnesota Wild is often a 1.5 guy. But due to his recent performance we are getting his SOG line at 2.5 and a ton of plus money value with it. The Wild have been dealing with injuries all season but the most impactful one has been top winger Kaprizov being out. Since then Hartman has helped step up.
Over the last 10 games Hartman has hit his 2.5 SOG line 7 times. He is averaging 5.5 shot attempts in those games with 6 of those games having 6+ shot attempts. This is great volume for a forward who is going under looked by the books. While Hartman is playing on the third line, he is also getting time on the top power play unit. He’s average TOI (time on ice) has also grown over the course of these ten games, having over 17 minutes in three games straight.
Tonight the Wild get a Vegas team who Hartman has a good history again. Over the last 11 times playing Vegas, Hartman has hit his 2.5 SOG line 7 times and averaging 5 shot attempts. The Golden Knights have been leaky lately too. They have allowed the 9th most shots against over the last 10 games. This all adds up to this overlooked player prop being an NHL best bet tonight!
