Utah has surprised a lot of people with their somewhat success. Their offense is middle of the road in the league. They’re 21st in goals scored and 15th in shots on goal per game. Utah’s power play is even decent, with a 22.3% conversion rate, ranking 14th in the league.

On defense, they fall into the same category. Utah ranks 18th in goals allowed and 13th in shots on goal allowed per game. Ranking 12th in penalty kill is pretty good considering they commit 5 penalties per game on average. This team is very mediocre all around, but still better than expected.

This one looks like an easy one to me. Utah just had the brakes beat off them and this isn’t a good get right spot for them. I think we see more of the same, just from a different team in Florida. Watch for the Panthers to get ahead early and not look back.

Florida’s offense is going to be too much for the Utah defense to handle. Guys like Sam Reinhart, Sam Bennett and Sasha Barkov is enough to make your head spin. Now throw in the little rat Brad Marchand and who knows how bad they can beat you.

I like for Sam Bennett and Sam Reinhart to record 3 or more shots on goal. Both of these guys are absolute snipers and with this team coming off rest, they’re going to fire. Reinhart has hit his mark in his last 4 games straight and Bennett has in his last 5 out of 6 games. Bennett has also hit the mark in his last 3 vs Utah.

Another play I like is Brad Marchand for a goal. I don’t know what line he’s going to end up on, but we know he’s going to be heavily involved. Regardless the line, he’s going to be surrounded by a lot of talent and that’s all he needs to make plays.
