For the final time this season, the Chicago Sky will take on the Indiana Fever at the Wintrust Arena. This will be the 4th time these 2 teams meet, with Chicago winning the last game by 1 point. All eyes will be on this game as these 2 teams keep setting records for most viewers. There’s also some great Fever vs Sky Picks for the game too!
Indiana is a completely different team than the one the Sky faced back in June. This team has really found itself. They are now 15-16 overall, sitting 3rd in the Eastern Conference. If the season were to end today, the Fever would be the 7th seed.
The Fever has figured out how to use their star Caitlin Clark and it has made them dangerous. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games and are 4-1 in their last 5 games. Indiana is 6-11 on the road this season but improving as the season has gone on.
Clark has exploded these past few weeks. She is averaging 18 points, 8 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game. She has had minimum 19 points in each of her last 10 games as well as 7 or more assists in 8 out of her last 10 games. Clark has recorded 8 games in her last 20 with 10+ assists in each game.
Chicago looks to get back on track and hang on to a playoff spot
The Sky are in a rough patch since returning. They’re on a 4-game losing streak and are 1-5 since returning from the break. They’ve lost their last 3 games by 4 points or less but were blown out in the first 2 losses.
Chicago was missing guard Chennedy Carter last game, and it showed. They only lost by 4 points, but the team did not move the ball well and could’ve easily won the game. Carter is also the leading scorer on this team, which would’ve moved the needle in the last 3 games.
Angel Reese is the other work horse for this team. She recorded 3 games straight with 20+ rebounds in each game, becoming the 1st WNBA player to do so. Reese can’t do it all herself though.
Let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

This Fever team is red hot and a totally more complete team than they were in June. In the 4 out of 5 games that they’ve won since the break, they have beat the Mercury, Storm, Dream and Sun. All these teams could make the playoffs (3 will).
Caitlin Clark is the clear leader on this team. When they play the Sky, the game becomes like a playoff game due to the hype the media has put between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. This game should honestly be at the United Center, and it would still sell out.
The Sky’s Chennedy Carter has been out and is a key difference for their offense. If she plays, it will open up the rest of the players for shooting. They have been struggling to move the ball around without her.
In the end, it’s the Fever. I feel like they’ve had this game circled on their calendar since they lost the last game. With the way they’re playing, the 5.5 points shouldn’t be a problem, especially if Carter is not available.
I like Aliyah Boston to go over 27.5 PRA valued at -108. She broke this number in the last 2 games these 2 teams played and has hit it in 2 of her last 4 games. Boston didn’t hit the number in her last game vs the Sun, but she recorded 8 assists, so I like the PRA.
