We are back for a Game 4, and no one is more surprised than me. Home court advantage is really showing itself this series as the Liberty pulled out an 87-73 Game 3 win. The win made the series 2-1 and keeps the Liberty alive.
New York got back to their normal play and moved the ball around. Sabrina Ionescu had 11 assists, but Jonquel Jones was the star of the game. She had 27 points and 8 rebounds. The double-double streak ends, but what a game she had.
Speaking of double-doubles, Breanna Stewart had another with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Another monster game by the league's MVP. Starters Betnijah and Courtney Vandersloot both contributed 12 points each.
Like I said before, the Liberty moved the ball around and had a total of 28 assists in Game 3. Another place they dominated was on defense, having 8 blocks to the Aces 0.
Shooting was the biggest difference of the game. New York shot 52% vs Las Vegas’ 33%, which is a huge margin. The Liberty are going to want to keep that shooting up to win Game 4.
Las Vegas were just completely out played in Game 3. But one of the things that really impacted them was 2 role players not being able to get it going.
Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray both had underwhelming performances. Both had 20+ points in Games 1 & 2, but Young only managed 8 points and Gray 11 points in Game 3. The Aces really need them to step up if they are going to beat the Liberty.
Kelsey Plum carried the team last game with 29 points. She shot 50% from the field and from 3-point range. A’ja Wilson did her part with a 16 point and 11 rebound double-double. The rebounds were on par for her, but the points was a little low. Low her not, she still played well and can’t do it all.
These ladies fell off last game and they’ll need to get it together to win Game 4. New York is playing for their lives and are going to come out that way. Vegas does have home court advantage, so they will go back to Las Vegas for Game 5.

Las Vegas Aces vs New York Liberty Prediction and Picks
Prediction and Pick: Las Vegas Aces +5.5 (-115)
The swing of the line is honestly crazy. Game 3 had the Liberty as a 1.5 points dog at home. After their win, the line moved considerably to them being favored by 5.5 points.
I do think we see a close game this time. I’m honestly not sure who wins this game, but any time the sportsbooks are giving us the Las Vegas Aces as a 5.5 dog – we are taking the points.
The value is also there at -115 odds as well. This game should be back and forth as Vegas is going to make adjustments from last game. I do see the Liberty coming out strong and fast, shooting a lot from 3-point range.
We have a great game on our hands, and I think it’ll come down to the end. Also, we can’t pass up the Aces as underdogs at 5.5 points. Get the towels because it’s going to be a sweat.
Player Prop: Jonquel Jonest 20+ Points (+132)
Jones has been exceptional these playoffs. From her 8-game double-double playoff streak to scoring 22+ points in 3 of her last 5 games, she’s a huge piece of this team.
She’ll be needed to continue her play for the Liberty to win. Down low, she’ll need to keep cleaning the boards as well as shooting well. She shot 66% from the field and had 4 3-pointers.
This is exactly what she was brought in for. Their backs are against the wall at home in front of the home crowd. Give me Jones to ball out once again.
