Tonight, we have the WNBA All Star game in Phoenix at the Footprint Center. This is the 2nd time that the league has chosen this format of National Team vs All Stars. Last year, the All-Star team won the game 93-85.
The All-Star team is done by fan voting. Just like other major sports, fans can submit votes for who they want to see in the game. This year we have 2 Rookie Stars in Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese on the team. Let’s check out the rosters for both teams.
Team WNBA is just as stacked as the National Team. A few others to mention are DeWanna Bonner, Jonquel Jones and Arike Ogunbowale. Arike was the game’s leading scorer last year with 26 points.
The US Women’s National will look for revenge from last year
These ladies are ready for battle this year and have their eyes on the Gold this Olympics. This will be a great test for them to get some rhythm and familiar playing together again.
On this team, we have stars A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier on the team. Jewell Loyd and Kelsey Plum will add a good shooting threat from 3-point range.
They had trouble last year, but this year they’re going to come back salty. I think that they will try to out muscle the All Stars and move the ball around fast. All the tools will be there for them to compete, let’s see if they click.
Let’s check out the game odds and get into the picks.

I like the All Stars in this one getting 6.5 points. Rookies Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are going to show out. This is a perfect spot for them to show that they can contend on their own against the best.
Expect Arika Ogunbowale to be shooting as well. Dearica Hamby, Jonquel Jones and Brianna Jones will be down low and looking to grab boards. The edge the USWNT has on the All Stars is that a good amount of them have already played together.
Every player on each team is obviously going to face the best of the best, but I think the All Stars have the edge as they have nothing to prove. If anything, this game should stay close.
I expect them to have some fun and both teams score a lot of points. The over is set really high, so I’m not going to touch it, but I think we see scoring.
For some player props, I like Caitlin Clark for 4 3-pointers made at +-102. She is going to shoot a lot and they defense should be lose, so she has a better chance of hitting them. We should see at least 10 attempts, so we’ll get the volume.
