MJF (c) vs. Samoa Joe Prediction & Odds — AEW World Championship
- MJF (-200)
- Samoa Joe (+150)
After months of anticipation, MJF will finally defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe in Saturday’s main event. It was revealed on the latest episode of Dynamite that Joe had been working with the Devil (and his masked men) this entire time to weaken MJF ahead of their clash.
While MJF’s reign has been decent, it’s time for it to come to an end. He’s reportedly dealing with an injured hip and torn labrum, meaning the timing is right to put the championship on Joe, who’s more than deserving of a world title run after being one of AEW’s best performers in 2023.
I fully expect the Devil to get involved in this matchup to cost MJF the gold before potentially revealing his/her identity during the aftermath.
MJF (c) vs Samoa Joe Prediction: Samoa Joe (+150)
Continental Classic 8-Man Tag Team Match Prediction & Odds
- Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Mark Briscoe, & Daniel Garcia (-140)
- Brody King, Jay White, Jay Lethal, & Rush (+100)
After a thrilling Continental Classic Tournament, eight of the wrestlers who didn’t make the finals will now square off in an eight-man tag team match. It’s a fun way to get everybody on the card while giving the participants their due after putting on banger after banger over the last few months.
I could really see this match going either way, but I’m inclined to back the favorites this time around. Danielson is likely entering his last full-time year as a professional wrestler and needs the win before he faces Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom in January. It’d also be a nice way to reward Briscoe and Garcia for their strong underdog performances in the tournament.
Continental Classic 8-Man Tag Team Prediction: Danielson/Castagnoli/Briscoe/Garcia (-140)

Continental Classic Finals Prediction & Odds
- Eddie Kingston (-500)
- Jon Moxley (+300)
When the Continental Classic began, Eddie Kingston put his ROH World Championship and NJPW Strong Openweight title on the line to ensure that the winner would be a triple-crown champion. He now has a chance to become to inaugural AEW Continental Champion when he faces long-time friend and rival Jon Moxley in the finals.
At the end of the day, Kingston needs this win a lot more than Moxley. After all, AEW Worlds End takes place in New York — the favorite’s home state. Moxley is also a three-time world champion in AEW, whereas a win on Saturday would easily be the biggest of Kingston’s career.
Expect the “Mad King” to come out on top in what should be an emotional match.
Continental Classic Finals Prediction: Eddie Kingston (-500)
Christian Cage (c) vs. Adam Copeland Prediction & Odds — TNT Championship
- Adam Copeland (-180)
- Christian Cage (+130)
Adam Copeland finally gets his hands on Christian Cage (again) when the former tag team partners meet for a TNT Championship match this weekend. The duo previously collided in Montreal at the beginning of December, but the match ended in controversy as Shayna Wayne helped Christian retain, setting up the upcoming no-disqualification bout.
In what should be a violent match, I see Copeland coming out on top. The Waynes will try to help Cage retain, but I wouldn’t be shocked if a returning Killswitch helps Copeland after turning on his former master. After all, a victory here doesn’t do much for Cage, who’s gotten the most he could out of this reign.
Adam Copeland vs Christian Cage (c) Prediction: Adam Copeland (-180)
Miro vs. Andrade El Idolo Prediction & Odds
- Miro (-250)
- Andrade El Idolo (+175)
2023 was quiet for Miro, who is only wrestling his seventh match of the year at Worlds End. He’ll have a chance to end the year on a high note when he faces Andrade El Idolo, who is managed by Miro’s real-life wife, C.J. Perry.
I can’t see a world where Miro doesn’t win this match. He’s made it his goal to destroy anyone who associates themselves with Perry, so it doesn’t make sense for him to lose this one as the story couldn’t advance. Besides, Andrade’s contract expires at some point in 2024, meaning there isn’t much of a reason to give him a huge win here.
Expect Miro to win, forcing Perry to potentially find a new client to extend the story.
Miro vs Andrade El Idolo Prediction: Miro (-250)

Julia Hart (c) vs. Abadon Prediction & Odds — TBS Championship
- Julia Hart (-10000)
- Abadon (+1200)
There’s no bigger favorite this weekend than Julia Hart (other than Toni Storm), whose -10000 odds carry an implied win probability of 99.0%. While upsets are a part of professional wrestling, I’m agreeing with oddsmakers here — there’s just no reason that Hart should lose this weekend.
Abadon is an interesting character, but they just aren’t ready to be one of AEW’s main champions. Hart’s reign still has a lot of juice left in it and I expect her to retain after an around 10-minute match — potentially with some help from the now-corrupt Skye Blue.
Julia Hart (c) vs Abadon Prediction: Julia Hart (-10000)
Toni Storm (c) vs. Riho Prediction & Odds — AEW Women’s World Championship
- Toni Storm (-10000)
- Riho (+1200)
Much like Hart, “Timeless” Toni Storm is also a -10000 favorite to retain the AEW’s World Championship when she collides with Riho, a former champion herself. Storm has been one of the most entertaining characters in wrestling since changing to her new gimmick and continues to fire on all cylinders.
I don’t see an upset occurring here, though. Riho only made her return a few weeks ago and doesn’t have enough momentum to make her a legitimate championship threat. It will be a great match between two talented women, but there’s no reason to take the title off Storm this soon.
Toni Storm vs Riho Prediction: Toni Storm (-10000)

Swerve Strickland vs. Keith Lee Prediction & Odds
- Swerve Strickland (-500)
- Keith Lee (+300)
After splitting up as a tag team well over a year ago, Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee will finally go to war at Worlds End. Having said that, there isn’t much of a reason to believe in an upset occurring here either.
Strickland is one of the hottest stars in the company and has solidified himself as a main event player due to the Continental Classic. He’s poised for a world title run in 2024, whereas Lee has to do a lot to rebuild himself after medical issues kept him from reaching his full potential over the last few years.
Lee doesn’t need the win on Saturday while a victory for Strickland would help continue his rise. It’s a no-brainer as to what the right decision is here.
Swerve Strickland vs Keith Lee Prediction: Swerve Strickland (-500)
Ricky Starks, Big Bill, & Don Callis Family vs. Le Sex Gods, Sting, & Darby Allin Prediction & Odds
- Ricky Starks, Big Bill, & Don Callis Family (+250)
- Le Sex Gods, Sting, & Darby Allin (-400)
There’s also a second eight-man tag team match that was just made this past Wednesday. After making his return following a concussion, Sammy Guevera reforms Le Sex Gods with Chris Jericho when they team with STing and Darby Allin to face the AEW Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill, along with the Don Callis Family’s Powerhouse Hobbs and Kyle Fletcher.
Don’t overthink things: the favorites won’t lose here. The heels don’t exactly need a victory here, whereas Guevera needs momentum after returning and I highly doubt AEW is going to make Sting lose when he’s less than three months away from retirement.
Guevera and Jericho will likely continue feuding with the DCF while I wouldn’t be surprised if Sting and Allin are the next team to challenge for the tag titles.
Ricky Starks, Big Bill, & Don Callis Family vs. Le Sex Gods, Sting, & Darby Allin Prediction: Sex Gods/Sting/Allin (-400)
