The Clippers could use a stronger offensive performance tonight following Monday’s 121-100 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. On the other hand, the Warriors are red-hot as they extended their winning streak to five games with a 129-107 win over the Utah Jazz earlier this week.

Clippers vs Warriors Prediction & NBA Pick Today (2/14): Can LA Win Without Kawhi?
The big story heading into tonight’s game is that the Clippers won’t have Kawhi Leonard, who’s out with an adductor strain. The 32-year-old has been the Clippers’ best player throughout the season, averaging 24.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.7 steals across 48 games.
Unsurprisingly, LA plays worse when the two-time NBA Finals MVP isn’t playing. The Clippers are an abysmal 6-19 SU across the last 25 games that Leonard has missed, which includes a 2-2 SU record so far this season.
Having said that, Leonard’s injury couldn’t have come at a worse time. The Warriors are on fire at the moment due to their five-game winning streak, averaging 121.8 PPG along the way. Part of that offensive success stems from Golden State hitting its perimeter shots, tallying 14.8 threes made on 41.8% shooting in those contests.
Time will tell if the Clippers are ready to go blow-for-blow at the three-point line. They average 13.2 three-pointers made (12th) with a 39.6 3P% this season, however, those numbers have dropped to 11.3 and 34.3% over the last three games.
Can the Clippers win without Kawhi Leonard in the lineup tonight?
LA’s recent history against Golden State is also somewhat of a mixed bag. On one hand, the Clippers are 2-1 SU against the Warriors this season, which includes winning the two most recent encounters. In fact, the Clippers are 4-2 SU in the last six games against their Pacific Division rivals.
On the other hand, the Clippers haven’t beaten the Warriors on the road since Jan. 6, 2021. The Warriors have won six consecutive meetings between these teams at Chase Center, outscoring the Clippers by an average of 12.3 points. LA didn’t even hit the 100-point mark in two of the last four clashes.
Another reason to doubt the Clippers is that they’ve failed to cover the spread in each of their last three outings. On the flip side, the Warriors are 5-0 ATS in their last five outings.
Will the Clippers find a way to cover as underdogs in the Bay Area tonight?
I just can’t bring myself to like the Clippers without Leonard, so take the Warriors to cover the spread tonight. Golden State has been playing lights out lately, covering the spread in each game on their five-game winning streak. They’ve already beaten the Clippers by six points at Chase Center earlier this season and that was a game that Leonard played in.
With LA’s best player missing in action tonight, the Warriors shouldn’t struggle to cover the 3-point spread at home.

Best Clippers vs Warriors NBA Prop Bet (2/14)
We’re heading over to Bovada for the best Clippers vs. Warriors player prop. In this case, that’s the Over on Draymond Green’s 6.5-assist total.
Green has always done well at setting up his teammates, but his playmaking has taken a step forward lately. The ex-Michigan State product is averaging 7.4 assists across his last 10 games, finishing with the Over on this prop six times, which includes tallying at least eight assists in each of his last two games. The Over is also 4-2 in his last six home games, averaging 8.2 APG during that stretch.
With the Clippers allowing an average of 29.5 assists in their last six games — sixth-most in that span — I like Green’s odds of piling up the helpers again tonight.
Best Clippers vs Warriors Prop Bet: Draymond Green o6.5 Assists (-126)
