Two teams heading in opposite directions will face off tonight at Madison Square Garden. In the first game of TNT’s Thursday night NBA doubleheader, the Golden State Warriors will take on the New York Knicks (7:30 pm ET, TNT).
The Warriors (30-27, 14-12 away) enter tonight with 11 wins in their last 14 games. They opened a four-game Eastern Conference road trip with a 123-112 win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
The Knicks (35-24, 20-10 home) will finish February with a losing record even with a win tonight, as they are just 4-7 to date this month. Tuesday’s 115-92 loss to the visiting New Orleans Pelicans was the Knicks’ sixth in their last eight games.
Who will take the win tonight at MSG? The moneyline and spread action isn’t the focus here, but I do have a prediction below. First up, let’s look at Warriors vs Knicks odds.

Golden State Warriors vs New York Knicks Prediction and Picks
Warriors vs Knicks Betting Analysis and Prediction
For the first few months of the season, the Warriors were not particularly good on the road. But in their last dozen road games, Golden State is 8-4 SU and 10-2 ATS, including 6-0 SU and ATS in their last half-dozen road tilts.
Will that run continue tonight in the Big Apple? Things certainly point in that direction.
When Julius Randle suffered a shoulder injury against the Miami Heat on January 27, the Knicks were on their way to closing out a sixth straight win. They would extend their streak to nine straight by winning their first three games without Randle, but they have found the going tough since.
The most unsettling thing about their current struggles is that they have taken place at home, for the most part. Prior to Randle’s injury, the Knicks were one of the best home teams in the league.
But since a 109-105 win over the Pacers on February 1, the Knicks are 2-5 SU and 0-7 ATS at home. Overall, they are 3-7 SU and 1-9 ATS in their last ten games.
Were there any positives sticking out, this would be a good value opportunity with the Knicks as a home underdog. Alas, they are 0-4 SU and ATS as a home underdog in this recent stretch, and all four losses have been by at least 14 points.
Best Player Prop Bets for Warriors vs Knicks
Klay Thompson (Warriors) over 15.5 points (-122 at BetOnline)
Thompson has 23 and 25 points in his last two games, and in his last three road games, he has 18, 26, 35, and 25. This is a very reasonable target, and he should have more than enough opportunities to knock it out with plenty of time left.
Donte DiVincenzo (Knicks) over 18.5 points (-112 at BetOnline) & over 3.5 made three-pointers (-160 at Bovada)
DiVincenzo has been a bright spot for the Knicks this month, averaging 22.3 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 3.2 APG and shooting 39.3% from three while putting up outside shots at a high volume (4.8 makes per game on 12.3 attempts per game).
In eight home games this month, DiVincenzo has hit the 20-point mark seven times, and he has made at least four threes seven times in eight home games as well. There’s a lot of juice with the over on his made threes prop, but he has been firing away and connecting from outside at such a high volume that it’s worth the look.
