Tuesday brings us a few matches on the English Premier League slate, so naturally, we needed to find some best bets for a little afternoon sweat on the pitch across the pond. We’ve only got four matches on the slate, but let’s dive in and see what we can find!

Fading Manchester City isn’t fun, but listen. Brentford is at home, they are currently 11th in the EPL standings, and they have so much more to play for. Manchester City is going to get hit with a point deduction penalty sometime this season, and it isn’t looking good. They care much more about the Champions League competition right now, and I don’t think the top dawgs will suit up for this game.

Motivation is all on Brentford’s side, and at home, I see them coming focused to get the job done. They’ve lost their last two matches at home, however they have wins over Newcastle, Leicester City and AFC Bournemouth this season. Despite not being in the best form, they won 5-0 in their last EPL match, and for plus money, I will certainly back them at home to earn a point.

Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool Best Bets

Best Bet: Liverpool to Win to Nil (+210) BetOnline

Liverpool are on the road in a revenge spot today. They got beat by Forest at Anfield earlier this season, and despite their week ahead, I see them behind very focused on the task at hand. Liverpool is up six points in the EPL standings, ironically ahead of Arsenal and Nottingham Forest are both tied at 40. A win today not only extends their lead, but also knocks down one of their competitors.

Is Nottingham Forest going to come fired up with the chance to sweep Liverpool? Absolutely. But with revenge on their mind and more talent on the pitch, I see Liverpool taking down their hosts, and holding them scoreless, something they should’ve done the first time around. I don’t see them making the same mistake twice.
