Octoplay Secures Pennsylvania Authorization for US Expansion

Octoplay has expanded its US footprint after securing Interim Authorization in Pennsylvania. The approval marks the supplier's entry into its third regulated US iGaming state.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) granted the authorization, allowing Octoplay to supply games to licensed operators in the state. The move adds another major market to the company's growing North American presence.

Octoplay has already established a presence in two other regulated US markets. Their current US expansion is as follows:

The Pennsylvania approval gives Octoplay another route into the US online casino sector. It also expands the supplier's reach within the regulated Pennsylvania gambling market. However, regulatory authorization does not mean its games are immediately live with every operator.

Instead, the approval creates the regulatory foundation for future commercial launches. Octoplay can now work with eligible Pennsylvania operators to distribute its content.

Regulatory Approval Supports North American Growth

Octoplay Chief Legal Officer Martina Borg Stevens emphasized the importance of regulatory compliance in the company's expansion strategy.

"Regulatory approval is the foundation of everything we do commercially, and we treat it that way," said Martina Borg Stevens, Chief Legal Officer at Octoplay. "Pennsylvania sets one of the highest bars in the United States and we met it. That puts our content in three of the largest regulated states in the country and gives us the platform to keep building across North America."

The company has also expanded its regulated footprint beyond the US. Its North American presence now includes Ontario and Alberta, alongside New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Octoplay recently entered Alberta with seven tier-one operators. That rollout included BetMGM, FanDuel, DraftKings, Betty, Rush Street Interactive, Penn and bet365.

Octoplay says it now has approval to operate across 20 regulated jurisdictions worldwide. Its footprint spans markets across Europe, North America and Brazil.

Games and Market Performance

The Pennsylvania authorization allows Octoplay to offer its content through licensed operators. Its portfolio includes online casino titles supported by proprietary engagement mechanics. Selected Octoplay features include:

The supplier has also reported recent momentum in the US market. Industry reporting states that Octoplay ranked as the Eilers & Krejcik Gaming US Index's New Overall Top Supplier for four consecutive months. That period ran from April through July 2026.

Pennsylvania now gives Octoplay another regulated market where it can pursue operator partnerships and distribute its games. The authorization therefore strengthens the supplier's position across the US online casinos sector.

At the same time, the company's growing presence in Canada and other regulated jurisdictions supports its broader North American expansion strategy.
