Kansas City Chiefs

Rashee Rice

Rashee Rice will be out this week as he heals a hamstring injury he sustained last week. Rice caught a ball in the 1st quarter of their matchup against the Raiders in Week 4 and immediately left the game with a tweaked hamstring.

While the team initially thought he might be able to suit up for this week's matchup with the Chargers, Rice will need a little bit longer to get back to full health. However, with Rice out that opens up a significant portion of targets for the rest of this Chiefs' offense.

Potential Target(s)

Travis Kelce is the most obvious name that comes to mind, but Xavier Worthy's been great and leads the Chiefs in target share. He's seeing a 17.2% target share, he's caught 14 of his 22 targets for 133 yards and 1 touchdown.

Travis Kelce's seeing a 16.3% target share this year, he's got 246 receiving yards and he's 7th in the NFL in yards after the catch per receptions. He's been an absolute demon with the ball in his hands, recording a total of 168 yards after the catch in just 4 games.

The Chargers defense isn't the best matchup, but Kelce's had great history against this team and the division in general. He's played the Chargers 14 times with Mahomes under center, he's caught 88 balls for 1164 yards and 9 touchdowns.

With Mahomes under center, since 2021; Kelce's seeing a 25% target share against the Chargers and that's higher than any other receiver we've even seen Mahomes play with. This is a matchup they thrive against and I wouldn't be surprised to see Kelce go crazy.

Houston Texans

David Montgomery

With no David Montgomery this week in London, the RB duties for Houston will fall solely on the shoulders of Woody Marks. Marks has been the better RB of the two so far this year, so with the increased volume and snap share, I love what he could do.

Montgomery's averaging just 2.7 yards per carry, he's cleared 35 rushing yards just once in five games and without the touchdowns he's been mostly irrelevant this year.

Potential Target(s)

Woody Marks is the most obvious next guy up for Houston. He's averaging 3.5 yards per carry, just under 30 rushing yards per game and he's also got 2 touchdowns on the ground. This week the Texans will head to London to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars and that's not a fun matchup.

The Jaguars rank 1st in rush yards allowed this year, giving up just 63.8 rush yards per game this year. The Jaguars are also scoring a ton of points and playing most of their games with a lead and it's why the team ranks 3rd in opponent rush attempts per game.

This week isn't the time, but if Monty's out long term; Marks could become a steady starter in your lineup.

Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles have won the NFC East two years in a row. Can they go for three? NFC East Preview

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles is like Lamar-lite in Fantasy

The Philadelphia Eagles locker room has been decimated. Lane Johnson retired, Cam Jurgens was traded, Saquon Barkley and Devonta Smith remain out and Jalen Hurts is now dealing with blood clots.

Sending for prayers for Jalen Hurts, blood clots are a scary thing to deal with and I'm praying he receives the best care possible to help treat them.

Unfortunately, this all means I'm just avoiding the Eagles; all together. I don't love any receivers on this team with the question marks surrounding Tanner McKee. Dameon Pierce looks like he might be the only healthy RB on this team and that gives me no confidence.

I'd avoid any and all Eagles this week, both in my fantasy lineups and betting slips.

Chicago Bears

Jaguars @ Bears | Week 6 Predictions, Odds & Best Bets

Last guy on the list, but maybe the most important injury of the bunch. Caleb Williams looks to be on track to play this week and it couldn't come at a better time for both this team and their fans.

The Bears put up just 7 points last week against the Packers and most of their squad was relatively quiet in the fantasy world. That could all change with QB1 back under center.

The Bears put up 59 points in a Week 1 victory over the Carolina Panthers and then we saw Caleb get hurt in that rainy game against the Vikings. We haven't seen what this offence could really look like with Caleb under center and I have to think guys like Luther Burden and Colston Loveland stand to benefit the most.
