Three of the 2024 MLB Wild Card series ended on Wednesday as the Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, and San Diego Padres all advanced to the next stage. Thursday's playoff schedule will see the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers collide for Game 3 of their series, leaving time to tell whose postseason dreams will end tonight.
Yesterday was a mixed bag in terms of MLB playoff bets, so let's get back on track with a strong showing today.
Here are my three best Mets vs. Brewers Game 3 bets.

3 Best Mets vs Brewers Game 3 Bets
1. o7.5 Total Runs — +103 on BetOnline
This MLB Wild Card series has seen plenty of offense through the first two games. The Mets and Brewers have averaged a combined 10.0 runs to begin this series, finishing with at least eight in Games 1 and 2.
There are other reasons to back the Over, too. For starters, the Over is 7-1 in the Mets' last eight playoff matchups as well as 33-25-2 when facing fellow NL teams on the road this season. Meanwhile, the Over is also 4-2 in the Brewers' last six home games and has hit in 56.0% of games where they've been the home favorite in 2024 — the eighth-highest rate in the MLB.
Additionally, Mets LHP Jose Quintana's last three starts saw an average of 10.0 runs scored while the Over has been achieved in two of Brewers RHP Tobias Meyers' last four starts.
With the Over also being 4-3 in the last seven Mets vs. Brewers matchups, I expect a decent amount of offense tonight.
2. Jose Iglesias o0.5 Runs + RBIs — +120 on BetOnline

Mets infielder Jose Iglesias is a battle-proven veteran who knows how to step up in the postseason. In his last five playoff appearances (20 at-bats), the 34-year-old Cuban is batting .300 with six hits, four runs, and two RBIs. He hit the Over on this prop on four of those occasions, including when he finished with at least one run in each game to begin this MLB Wild Card series.
Iglesias has now finished with at least one run or RBI in eight of his last 15 matchups against the Brewers, equating to a 53.3% success rate. Considering how he also has hits in nine of his last 10 games against Milwaukee, it's clear that Iglesias is good enough to put himself in a position to pull through on this prop again.
With plus-money, you can't go wrong here.
3. Willy Adames 2+ Total Bases — +125 on BetOnline
Even though he's only 1-for-7 in the batter's box in this series, I still like the idea of Willy Adames tallying at least two total bases in Game 3 of this MLB Wild Card series.
After all, Adames has had plenty of success against Mets LHP Jose Quintana. In 14 career at-bats against the veteran southpaw, the 29-year-old shortstop is slashing .357/.400/.714 with five hits, two doubles, and one home run. It was also only on Sept. 28 when Adames recorded a single off Quintana before finishing the game with a pair of TBs.
Based on his history with Quintana and the fact that the Brewers need their best players to step up to avoid elimination, I won't be shocked if Adames has a big night.
