The MLB Season is well on it's way and we're getting closer and closer official start of summer. The baseballs are beginning to fly just a little bit higher and the winds are starting to blow just a little bit harder.
With that being said, it feels like the perfect time to start betting on some home runs and see if we can stack some coin on the diamond.
All bets will be tracked as one unit bets, but I've reduced my unit size to half my normal wager. More responsible gambling and easier to track; feels perfect.
Today's Dingers

Pete Alonso Home Run (+410) | Lucky Rebel
Let's kick it off with a brand new Baltimore Oriole and a forever Yankee hater; Pete Alonso. Alonso struggled at the start of the year, struggling to find his swing and make hard contact with the ball.
In 10 games this month, Alonso's batting .263 with 4 home runs and a .658 SLG. Alonso also hasn't lost his hate for the Yankees, despite leaving New York. In four games against the Yankees this season, Pete's batting .357 with a .857 SLG and 2 home runs.
Pete's also gone 2/4 against Ryan Weathers in his career, with 1 home run. Weathers' is allowing a hard hit rate of 43% against righties this year, with a .448 SLG allowed. All 6 home runs he's allowed have been to righties and Pete's hit 6 of his last 8 batted balls 95+ mph.
Weathers' has an xwOBA of .340 and has allowed 5 of the 6 home runs in just his last four starts. He started the season hot but has since given up 5+ hits in five of his last six starts and has pitched past the 5th inning just twice.

Ben Rice Home Run (+310) | Lucky Rebel
Keeping it in the exact same game, hoping we get some of those good baseballs. Ben Rice has been great this year and despite a few games spent out of the line; he's hit 12 home runs already this year. Rice is batting .308 on the year with a .683 SLG.
Rice is hitting the ball hard, recording a 59% hard hit rate this year and 23% barrel rate. The kid leads the Yankees in SLG and sits second in home runs; second to Aaron Judge. Rice has hit 7 home runs against right handed pitching this year, recording a .313 batting averaging and .675 SLG.
Rice's hard hit rate jumps to 61% against righties and that barrel rate jumps to 26%. Brandon Young will be on the bump for Baltimore. He's got a 5.56 ERA this year across four starts and he's giving up 2.9 home runs per 9 innings at home this year.
Despite holding lefties to a .244 OBA, the contact he is giving is up hard contact. Young's allowing a hard hit rate of 45% to left handed bats this year with a 12.2% barrel rate.
Rice is also batting .500 against the Orioles this year, recording 5 total hits across three games. He homered twice in those three games.
