After about 10 days off the diamond, I'm ready to be hurt again. June's here and this is when the ball just starts to fly. Luckily we're only down about one unit and we've got an entire summer of MLB to look forward to.
Let's jump right into today's top two hitters.
The cheat sheet makes it a lot easier when I run through the stats I'm looking at and as always, hit me up on X if you've got more questions.

Today's Dingers

Kyle Schwarber Home Run (+255) | Lucky Rebel
Kyle Scwarber leads the MLB in home runs, ranks 2nd in BRL%, 3rd in SLG and 7th in wOBA. He's got the highest ISO in the league and he's doing all of this at the ripe age of 33 years old.
Schwarber's got 13 of his 22 home runs at home this year and his batting average jumps to .269 when he's playing in Philly. His .712 SLG at home this year would be the highest in the MLB this year and he's killed the Padres this year.
Schwarber's played the Padres three times this year in San Diego, finished the series batting .417 with one home run and a .667 SLG.
On the bump for the Padres is the righty, Randy Vásquez. Vásquez has a 3.28 ERA this year but he's giving up 1.2 HR/9 and he's struggled against lefties this year.
Vásquez is allowing lefties to hit .270 this year with a 45% HH% and .436 SLG allowed. This will be Vásquez's second game against Philly this year, giving up 8 hits, 4 earned runs and 3 HR in the first meeting.
Funny enough, Vásquez gave up home runs to Bryce Harper, Trea Turner and J.T. Realmuto; but not Schwarby. Tonight it's Schwarby that gets one over the fence.

Yordan Alvarez Home Run (+280) | Lucky Rebel
Yordan Alvarez is back. He's 2nd in the MLB in home runs this year, he's got the 2nd best SLG, wOBA and ranks 1st in ISO. After an injury ridden 2025, Alvarez is back and better than ever.
At home this year, Alvarez has been even better. He's batting .340 at Daikin Park this year with a .689 SLG and 9 home runs. He's been absolutely blasting the ball in front of the home crowd and tonight after a tough series against the Brewers; he's got a prime matchup.
The Pirates will send out Bubba Chandler, a second year righty that's already given up 7 home runs this year. Chandler's got a 4.85 ERA this year and 5 of the 7 home runs he's given up have come against left handed bats.
Yordan's batting .293 against right handed pitching this year with a .600 SLG and 55% HH%. After going 2/11 in front of the home crowd against Milwaukee, I'm expecting Yordan to come out swinging tonight.
